Wild Love

We’re kicking off the week with a brand new track from pop-rock group, Wild Love. They’re a trio comprised of band members from very different areas of the world (Ireland, Turkey, and New York), who moved to Nashville to make this band a serious one – and it’s paying off. They’re playing large festivals and concerts, getting airplay on respected stations, and now they’re looking to take the next step with their brand new single, “I Hate That I Need You”.

We’re stepping in front of the filter. No bullshit anymore — lyrically, sonically, how we present ourselves, how we do everything really,” says Wild Love frontman Brandon Gorman of their new music. “Honesty is the best policy, and as cliché as that sounds, it’s the mentality we’ve been operating under since we started making this new music, and it’s been getting the best out of us and these songs.

“I Hate That I Need You” seamlessly marries pop catchiness with rock sensibilities. While it’s a fairly mellow track, there’s a great energy to it; the guitar riffs pop, the bassline stands out, and the chorus is memorable and bound to keep repeating in your head long after it’s done. Clocking in at under 3 minutes, it’s not a long song, which makes it one you’re liable to listen to over and over. As the summer months are coming to an end, this new single is a pretty perfect sendoff.
