Submit your tunes!
For site features and Spotify playlist adds, email us (Kris & Nolan) at thejerks@fromthestrait.com with links to your song (YouTube, Spotify & Soundcloud preferred), plus photos, bio, and info about the song. Please try not to attach any files, just send links whenever possible. If you have a one-sheet and/or EPK link, send those too! We prefer emails that have the release date in the subject, as well as personal messages instead of mass emails. Those small details help you stand out!
If your lyrics are misogynist, or racist, don’t bother sending it. We won’t feature it.
PLEASE NOTE: We receive hundreds of submissions each day, and we aren’t able to get to them all. Sometimes, if it’s not a great fit for us, we may forward your email to another music site in case they want to post about it. (And if you’re tired of sending out emails without much luck, visit our PR page for help getting your songs out to music media.)
