The Challenger Disaster Conspiracy – “Something’s Wrong With Dougie”

Country: US

Careful listeners will pick up notes of Fugazi, Bad Religion and Guns’N’Roses.”

Collective Unconscious – “The Devil”

North Cape Lights – “Come To Me 1 More Time”

Country: Italy

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist: “Come To Me 1 More TimeI is quite a cliché, a common and stereotyped story that has happened to anyone once or twice. I just had this story inside of me and I wrote it without the amount of efforts that usually takes me to create a song. I had the chorus for a very long time, but no verse. One day the verse came out very quickly and istinctively I knew the song was complete. I liked it a lot from the very first time. I stopped recording everything else I was working on and recorded this song straight away in my home studio. After 2-3 days the song was finished. I couldn’t wait to let all my friends hear it and every one immediately liked it, which I considered to be a good sign.”

Jaewon – “Fever Dreams”

Country: US

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: “Post punky trippy synth jam about being super duper sick”

GZ Grant – “Timelines”

Country: US

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: “It’s an upbeat psychedelic rock track with experimental vocal delays/harmonies. There’s some krautrock influence as far as the hypnotic or circular drum/bass pattern. All recorded in my bedroom with the exception of the drums. “

Jameson Day – “Just Feel”

Country: Canada

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist: “I wrote this song recently during the pandemic. Prior to the pandemic, our band DarkStars was gaining some momentum, playing more and more shows and festivals. Then everything stopped. No more live venues, no more live music… I believe it forced a lot of people to take a step back and really think about what they really love. I found that I love Family and Music. If there are no stages to play, at the end of the day I just want to spend time with Family.”

Bluphoria – “Set Me Up”

Country: US

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: “Set Me Up” – a high-energy alternative rock song with blues and psych-rock influences that satisfyingly takes the listener on a journey from anger into a cathartic dance party. “ ‘Set Me Up’ was one of those surprising songs that didn’t take long to write,” says Reign LaFreniere(lead vocals, lead guitar). “From the Stones-esque beats to the catchy breaks we hope y’all enjoy this song as much as we do!”

Gangsterdam – “A week in the life of Rue”

Country: South Africa

Genre: Punk

From the Artist: “This song is about the endless cycle of partying and drug addiction that people get into. It is kind of a punk song with heavy brit-pop influence. It was mixed by Ryan Ellery (who mixed Mom Jeans). There is also a really fun music video that goes with it! We like the structure as it has no real chorus (which is quite unique). We love songs like Linoleum by NOFX which also has an unconventional structure- so we are hoping that this can fit into a punk playlist!”

Moon Panda – “Submarine”

Country: Denmark

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: “Originally released as a bonus track on the yellow colour vinyl version of the bands debut album ‘What On Earth’ (released March 2022), the track is available digitally for the first time. It was recorded during the same sessions as the album but transformed and reimagined by producer Adam Thein at a later date with the original version of the track being shelved. ”

Secret Shame – “Luxury Bitch”

Country: US

Genre: Post-Punk

From the Artist: “A blisteringly personal confessional, Secret Shame’s vocalist Lena Machina penned the “Luxury Bitch” lyrics about one of her deepest fears: losing loved ones because of the fallout of mental illness. Recorded at Asheville’s renowned new studio Drop of Sun (Animal Collective, Indigo de Souza, Angel Olsen etc), Autonomy was MORE than worth the wait! “

Intrepid Bloom – “Dark Horse”

Country: US

Genre: Hard Rock

From the Artist: ‘Dark Horse’ is about having to fight through today’s hyper-competitive society and against people who are believed to be better than you.”
