New York-based power-pop indie rock band Strange Neighbors have just released a new single, “Without A Head”. It’s the latest track from their upcoming album, People Pleasers Pleasing People, due out on April 18th.

“Without A Head” is an immediately infectious track, and the vocals are perfectly executed – melodic and powerful with an almost Dolores O’Riorodan (of The Cranberries) feel. There’s a solid amount of grit to this song, while still keeping it poppy and easy to bop along with. The guitar riffs are solid and full of swagger, with solos that are perfectly placed without feeling forced or unnecessary.

Overall, this song is incredibly likeable and sure to appeal to music fans of all types. Strange Neighbors has a notable knack for crafting buoyant, intoxicating songs full of sticky hooks and strong female-fronted energy, and this track is absolutely no exception. We can’t wait to hear what else their upcoming album has in store. Watch out for it on April 18th.
