Hounds Haul

UK-based alt-rock/pop band Hounds Haul have been steadily growing their fan base since their inception in 2019, playing shows and releasing singles that saw regular radio play. They’ve just released their latest single, “Odyssey”, a synth-filled alt-rock song, taking cues from retro and modern styles.

This song is the second part to a three-part project we call “The Odyssey”. The project was written and created during lockdown and focuses around exploration and escapism,” says the band of the new music. “Odyssey is the hero song to the three-part project as we feel it is one of the most creative yet grounded songs we’ve made since starting Hounds Haul. If picturing the project as a movie and Odyssey as Act 2, that’s where all the action happens.

This anthemic new single from the five-piece features hard-hitting drums and melodic synths, with powerful vocals and an undeniable swagger. “Odyssey” bridges the gap between an edgy pop style and a huge rock sound, making this a must-listen for music fans of all kinds; there’s a solid nod to 80s new wave, but modernized for a 2023 audience. Hounds Haul is now set to make new fans across the globe (and that includes us in Canada), and are definitely a band to watch.
