Lockyer Boys – “DRIVE!”

Country: Canada

Genre: Pop Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: Guided by retro synths and vibrant, fast-paced production, “DRIVE!” showcase Lockyer Boys’ exhilarating and feel-good pop sound. The duo collaborated on the song with Alan Poettcker (from the teen pop/rock band These Kids Wear Crowns). “‘DRIVE!’ is about taking your shot, much like we are doing with our career,” Will and Charlie explain. “It’s about being confident, brave, and giving 100%. We think it ties into our overarching theme of spreading positivity and inspiration, but it can also be interpreted as a love song.”

Rob Giles – “Some Stars”

Country: US

Genre: Singer-songwriter

Words From the Artist/PR: “Some Stars” is a cosmic reflection captured in song. Rob Giles invites us to contemplate our place in the universe, emphasizing the importance of humility and unity. The lyrics poetically convey how some stars believe they are the center of the sky, but true illumination comes from recognizing the brilliance in every being. This celestial anthem reminds us that when all shine like the sun, the universe rejoices in harmony

The Rumble Wagon – “Through The Dark”

Country: Canada

Genre: Americana

Words From the Artist/PR: The band’s unique sound is a testament to their eclectic musical tastes, which also incorporate unexpected sources such as old telephones, TV static, underwater cop dramas, and broken lenses. This fusion of traditional and experimental elements creates an immersive sonic experience that is truly one-of-a-kind. “Overall the themes are more hopeful, reverent that we are mired in some regards, but music and art will provide some solace,” the band says. “The Rumble Wagon will be a shaky ride but she’ll get you there.”

Friend – “Bored To Death”

Country: US

Genre: Punk

Words From the Artist/PR: “Recorded in a bedroom in West Philly, Bored to Death is a blown out indie track about the growing pains of young adulthood.”

Adro The Toxic Waste – “Crystallized”

Country: UK

Genre: Alt Metal

Words From the Artist/PR: Crystallized is a new song in all senses. A mixture of old school metalcore blended with some industrial metal synths and atmosphere. What really brings a fresh sound to it it’s probably the grungy main voice of the singer. giving the song a little bit of different vibes. We tried to upgrade our sound in terms of technique, songwriting and recordings and here is the result. Hopefully an enjoyable new track out of our journey as a musicians!

Twisted Limbs – “Battery”

Country: Canada

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: On March 31st, 2022 Rye Bread (Riley Whelan Taylor) passed away. To honour this amazing kind-hearted soul and our fellow twisty bestie, Adrien Idiot and Donzo (Donavon O’Leary) teamed up with Dana Wiesbrock to record one of the last songs Rye Bread ever wrote for Twisted Limbs. “Battery” was written amidst a lot of depression. We took Rye’s words and added a few of our own. Maybe it’s what we wish we could have said, maybe we just miss our friend. The band hopes to bring awareness and to flatten the stigma around mental illness and addiction.

Buddy Junior – “RUST”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: “a flat, rusted, metal rod slid underneath my eyeball, and i was convinced for a second that i would go blind in one eye. i was really freaked out ngl, like i was crying and stuff . later that day i wrote this song.”

Sunshine Spazz – “Chugga”

Country: US

Genre: Garage Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: Thunderous tom work to start. Some fun and energetic changes. Fast instrumental bridge. Doomy outro.

Telos Vision – “Wake Up”

Country: Sweden

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR:  Another song that I wrote during the pandemic. It’s about time standing still and living life in a bubble and feeling like the whole world is asleep. Which is what it really was. I got inspired by Paul McCartney’s solo album III for the sound at the start, but it ended up somewhere completely different.

Currls – “April Fool”

Country: UK

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR:  “‘April Fool’ is an ode to confusion in relationships—the frustration of not knowing where you stand with someone. When I wrote this back in 2015/16, it was a reflection of how I felt at the time—now I look at it more as a power ballad that’s directed at people that waste your time with indecision, and just the eagerness of being so close to something but just not being able to reach it. This song is about getting your own power back and, ultimately, remember: NEVER let anyone mess you around or stand in your way of greatness.”
