Spinning – “St. Stephen’s Green”

Country: USA

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist: “”St. Stephen’s Green” is a song I wrote after reflecting on a trip to Ireland a few years ago with my family and significant other at the time. I always get inspired to write after traveling and on that trip I was struggling a lot with my mental health. I remember feeling like a huge burden to everyone around me, finding it difficult to communicate my feelings effectively, and how much it frustrated me. The song casts a light on how how unpredictable emotions can be, how they are impacted by one’s environment, and how they can affect our relationships with people around us.”

Awesome Easy – “Fear & Paranoia”

Country: USA

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist:  “This rude tune came to be after watching Adam Curtis’ documentary “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head” when it came out last year. It was written and recorded quickly and I do a fair bit of screaming on it. Ever hear of a lil band called Nirvana? This blows them out of the water!! Haha jk Anyway, I always wanted to try something a little more aggressive. Z Berg did some background vox and Sam Gallagher produced the thing”

James Hooker & The Hallows – “Don’t Slow Me Down”

Country: Australia

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist: “This song was written and recorded immediately after watching Tom Petty’s “Running Down A Dream” Documentary. It uses classic metaphors of trains and planes, with subtle references to classic rock and roll drug use. Oh yeah.”

Johnny Perrins – “Mr Crazy Daze”

Country: UK

Genre: Rock

From the Artist: “‘Mr Crazy Daze’, by London based singer songwriter Jonny Perrins is a rock n roll, pantomime journey into the abyss of post-sesh anxiety. Fun, straight to the point and catchy as hell, ‘Mr Crazy Daze’, is a sing a long anthem for the millennial hedonist. Jonny blends Britpop melodies with chiming reverb drenched guitar hooks, to accompany you along the ride.”

Rikashay – “407”

Country: Canada

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: “”407″ is a love song dedicated to an abundant forest located beneath a toll route in Rikashay’s hometown of Markham, Ontario. The song has become a fan favourite in their live set, which has been heard at Toronto institutions like the Horseshoe Tavern and Lee’s Palace, as well as countless other clubs throughout Southern Ontario and Eastern Canada since 2015. A fixture of the GTA’s emerging indie scene, Rikashay aims to kick off the early spring with this tuneful indie-rock anthem honoring a local landmark!”

Jenny Berkel – “Kaleidoscope”

Country: Canada

Genre: Singer Songwriter

From the Artist: ““Kaleidoscope,” the first single from the album, is a dissonant and poetic consideration of the importance of care and precision in language, both in the broader political landscape and in intimate emotional ways. From the heart-wrenching confusion of interpersonal manipulation, it extrapolates a collectively felt disorientation at the kaleidoscopic swirling of disinformation and misinformation.”

Sam Reaver – “Sarcastic War”

Country: USA

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: ““Sarcastic War” is a funky, swaggering rocker accented with bright horns and driving percussion. Sam Reaver’s wry social commentary is epitomized with lines like “spinning around the brass gas lighter like a slapstick lunatic.”

Corey Crumpacker – “Scared to Death”

Country: USA

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: “It’s about the fear of walking away from something not good for you because having something is better than nothing. But more than that, it’s about finding the courage to step outside of what you know and trusting that there is “hope around the bend.” This is also my first time producing and engineering a song totally independently (outside of mix and master).”

Primes – “Talk Too Much”

Country: UK

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: “Primes showcase a sound that can only be described as pop tinged alternative rock. Their sound pitches foot stomping rock grooves, anthem-like choruses, melodies with the earnest energy combined with layered harmonies to submit their own character. Growing up listening to Biffy Clyro, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, The Rolling Stones, Linkin Park, Blink 182 and Placebo, the band have taken influences from all of their favourite bands to perfect their sound. They have been referenced to the likes of Kings Of Leon, Catfish and the Bottlemen, The Subways, The Killers and even Alkaline Trio.”

Stress Dolls – “NERVOUS”

Country: USA

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist: “This song is from my latest album, FORWARD, which was released on January 21, 2022. The album was produced by Marc Hunt, who has worked with such artists as the Goo Goo Dolls, Mary Ramsey from 10,000 Maniacs, and more. When I set out to do this record I intentionally wanted to record a bunch of energetic songs, but “NERVOUS” is one of my favorites of the bunch. It’s a boppy-Replacements-inspired love song and I’m really happy with how it came out.”

Two Phase Commit – “Callback Man”

Country: USA

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist: “Callback Man is a fun, 2 minute pop/punk song about always being in the friend zone where you’re the person they’re ok with “calling back” later.”

Lady Dan – “Not In Love”

Country: USA

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: “There’s a paradoxically perfect union between a broken heart and cowboy twang. Tyler Dozier’s songs as Lady Dan tap even deeper into that sublime intersection where searing pain can reach sublime heights. Her own tale of hurt comes complete with multilayered existential quandaries, of empowerment and restriction, of life and death, of faith and its absence. On her debut album I Am the Prophet April 23rd 2021 via Earth Libraries, the Austin-based musician weaves intensely personal storytelling, poetic imagery, biblical allusion, immaculate arrangements, and crackling songwriting into an irresistible melancholic melange. ”
