Logan Springer & The Wonderfully Wild – “Greenbacks and Gold”

Country: US

Genre: Americana

Words From the Artist: “Davenport, Iowa based-band Logan Springer & the Wonderfully Wild is releasing the Americana rock single, “Greenbacks & Gold” on January 25. A take on the anti-work movement, the song revolves around the idea of no longer dedicating your life to working for “the man” without being able to get ahead or partaking in the fruits of one’s labor. It’s off the album, “Crow” due out March 3,”

Scott Tournet – “Fever”

Country: US

Genre: Garage Rock

Words From the Artist: “‘Fever’ is the first single from Scott Tournet’s forthcoming album due to be released in 2023. Rhythmically and emotionally powerful, ‘Fever’ draws from American rock & roll and pop music of the past while remaining current sonically. Like The Black Keys, Jack White, and Gary Clark Jr. have done, Tournet manages to update the blues rock genre by incorporating deep bass, hip hop influenced grooves, and modern production. His music immediately sounds familiar while also feeling new and exciting. “I’m always trying to find the cross section of new and old” says Tournet. “My passion for vinyl records from the 50’s through the 70’s is never ending but I’m never looking to recreate anything. I’m always looking to make something new and exciting that feels fresh to me. In the process of doing that the music that is in my DNA invariably sneaks through and provides a feeling of comfort and familiarity. If my music was an outfit it would be a brand new pair of sneakers out of the box and adidas track pants coupled with that comfy t-shirt you’ve owned forever.”

Aggressive Soccer Moms – “Darling”

Country: Sweden

Genre: Post-Punk

Words From the Artist: “”Darling” is a fast and bright song. The saxophone adds, again, to an extra dimension. The vocals are as aggressive as always and for the first time we can hear a guitar solo in an “ASM” song.”

Hazlett – “Hesitate” (feat. OSKA)

Country: Australia

Genre: Folk

Words From the Artist: “I wanted to write this album differently, Hazlett says, “the songs are conversations being retold by a friend of a friend,” he reveals. “Anytime you pass another person’s story on, you embellish certain moments because those are the moments worth retelling. Certain details get a little hazy, and some are vivid as if they happened yesterday.”

Philip LaRue – “Never Break”

Country: US

Genre: Singer-Songwriter

Words From the Artist: Inspired by his wife when she was missing her hometown in the central coast of California, LaRue tips his hat to the sadness she was feeling at the time. “It plays off the metaphor of waves. We’re making a wave together that never breaks,” he says about the track.

Meltt – “Blossoms”

Country: Canada

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From the Artist: “’Blossoms’ is about making an effort to see the beauty in nature and experiencing the ‘real’ it has to offer. It shows us an escape from manufactured environments that we are constantly immersed in and accustomed to. The track also provides a feeling of connection with your past, or a general human past. With an appreciation for the natural world, ‘Blossoms’ tries to convey a feeling of the ‘glow’ you might have when having these experiences outdoors,” states Meltt about the new single.

The Peregrine Dives – “Left On Massard”

Country: US

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From the Artist: “New single from Crossroads & Ghosts, the debut release from pacific northwest power trio The Peregrine Dives.”

The Puro – “Shortcuts”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist: “Following two years of long-distance collaboration, co-founder and songwriter with The Cranberries, guitarist Noel Hogan has joined forces with Brazilian singer Mell Peck to form The Puro. The Puro’s songs are best described as honest, transparent and true. Noel Hogan’s trademark guitar sounds are combined with Peck’s authentic and pure vocal style.”

Shaylee – “Snow Day”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist: “Bundled up inside with a warm cup of whatever, it’s easy to shut reality out. The truth, though, is that you can’t hide forever. Portland-based power pop/dream punk trio Shaylee’s new single Snow Day shines light on these hiding places, and the mess we find once we dare to look. Performed live with new bandmates Robin Cook (bass) and Nate Anderson (drums), the track is a perfect showcase for Elle Archer’s shredding lead guitar, sweetly delivered vocals, and vulnerable songwriting. “

Cloud Pham – “Tummy Ache”

Country: Canada

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From the Artist: “Catchy and upbeat indie rock with a guitar solo as the outro. This song is the first track of the new album YOUNG&DUMB.”
