CHAMP KIND – “Centipede”

Country: UK

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: Centipede is Champ Kind’s heaviest effort yet, harkening back to the alternative rock of the 90s and early 2000s that seemed to burn its way into the band’s collective musical subconscious. They’ve been using the song to close their sold-out gigs across Leeds and West Yorkshire to rapturous receptions. However, Centipede is not a complete departure from the Champ’s sound – the central helix of funk still runs through this song’s DNA, anchored in by the absolutely watertight rhythm section.

la lune – “disparity”

Country: Canada

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: disparity was written about the endless wrestling that we do with our own thoughts. trying to challenge the negative thought patterns that we face, while also drowning in the guilt we have for feeling them in the first place. is my own mental anguish worth anything? am i overdramatizing my own life to the point of where it could be considered some twisted, self-sadistic indulgence? at what point does every pretentious, irony-driven, thing we do or say seep into every aspect of our being? is my whole life one big joke? the song is an attempt to reflect on these big questions, and find some sort of solace in the dispirited space that we can find ourselves in.

Decrepit Youths – “Sleep Torn”

Country: UK

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: Sleep Torn describes how you perceive the world and how it affects your mental state. We are lucky enough as a band to speak about our mental health. It is a subject we are passionate about and this was the driving force behind writing the song. This is our third single!

Climb On – “Circling The Drain”

Country: US

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: Meet the chorus you’ll be happy to have stuck in your head all day. Catchy and energetic, Circling the Drain has quickly become a hit at Climb On shows in the DC area in 2023 and this studio version takes it to another level with production that brings a unique punch and shine. The perfect combo of a playful sound and dark lyrics about a dead end relationship takes you through a journey of highs and lows with softer verses, big choruses, and a unique finale that will truly have you ‘circling’

Shady Baby – “All Too Late”

Country: UK

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: Speaking about the new single, frontman Sam Leaver said: “‘All Too Late’ is a song about looking to the future and wanting to feel in control of your own life. From feelings of being left behind, it was written as a piece of advice to myself to not be stuck in the past, to take charge of my own life and to know I have the power to change it.”

Our Friends – “Mistaken”

Country: Sweden

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: “Mistaken,” the latest single from Stockholm-based Our Friends, seamlessly blends raw emotions with ethereal atmospheres. Driven by pulsating beats, haunting guitar riffs, and atmospheric synths, the song presents a unique fusion of nostalgia and modernity – a contemporary take on post-punk that the band has become known for. The vocals, characterized by captivating melodies and introspective lyrics, guide listeners through the different phases of a toxic blame game, exploring themes of lost love and self-reflection. This is the second single of the year from a band that quietly keeps building a reputation as a hidden gem on the Swedish indie scene. With “Mistaken,” they are finally finding their footing and honing their distinct sound even further

Livingmore – “No Vacation”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: This is the 3rd single from our upcoming album “The Garden” which will be released in January 2024. It is produced by Jeff Schroeder from The Smashing Pumpkins and also features Emily Retsas (bassist for Phoebe Bridgers, Better Oblivion Community Center). No Vacation was recorded at EastWest Studios in Los Angeles, CA.

Jack Shields – “Feel”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: Imagine Godzilla stomping around Seattle in 1997, terrifying and possibly inebriated, the monster slips and tumbles into the Puget sound, dragging the last remnants of the grunge with him. With lyrics like “I dont wanna die, but I dont wanna change”, a headbang inducing riff, and unbridled angst, the Sadler Vaden produced “Feel” is like a lost radio transmission from the 90s underground.
