Eight new FTS-approved tunes for your earholes to enjoy this long weekend!

Monowhales – “RWLYD (Really Wanna Let You Down)

With their new single, Monowhales paired a catchy tune with a far deeper meaning behind it. Feeling the constant push and pull of outside expectations, the band wrote this song as a response to that beaten down feeling & their decision to let them go.

Daniel Wesley – “Older Now”

On his 9th full-length album Beach Music, Daniel Wesley is bringing back his folky reggae-tinged beach music. Check out his latest song, “Older Now”, a highly personal track that had us tappin’ our toes and singing along.

The Abrams – “Good Old Days

Canadian country duo The Abrams recently dropped this video for “Good Old Days”, an autobiographical song about not letting the present slip away. You can find the song on their latest EP, “Reminder”. If you’re a country fan, these guys definitely need to be on your radar.

Dan Moxon – “The Blue”

If you don’t know Dan Moxon, check out our previous feature on him – and then check out this new single. “The Blue” is about people’s struggles with mental health and depression, but also the wonder of life.

Bon Villan – “Wind Up”

We featured Bon Villan awhile ago on FTS, and now they’re back with their latest single, “Wind Up”! The bass-heavy song is a nod to the two most intense moments in relationships – the tension that builds before a couple gets together, and the tension as they end. Check it out.

Grizzly Coast – “High-Functioning”

Toronto based indie-rock musician Grizzly Coast (a.k.a. Alannah Kavanagh) brings lots of energy and bouncy riffs to her latest single, “High-Functioning”. Have a listen below, and stay tuned for her EP release, coming in 2020!

Secondhand Habit – “Get Back”

Since the first time I listened to Secondhand Habit’s “Get Back”, I keep coming back to it. If you’re not moving your head to this one, turn it up a little louder! It’s a riff-driven tune from this B.C. band.

Borza – Live & Love

Borza is a British-born Persian Québécois, living & travelling between Canada & Europe, creating music. If you’re looking for the perfect fusion between folk and pop today, his new track is for you.
