Exit – “A Lesson in NFL Blitz”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist: “We wrote this song on a weekend writing trip this past summer. We’d rented this cabin on Candlewood Lake in Connecticut, and turned the living room into a studio. The goal for the song was to have it sound like something that might be included in an early 2000s action sports game – like NFL Blitz. We also liked the reference, because in football, blitz is a forceful attack on the offense – which is partly what the song is about. It’s the first single from our new project, but no two songs sound quite the same. Hope you enjoy, but stay tuned either way!”

Greebo – “Someone to You”

Country: UK

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist: “This track is completely open to any individual’s interpretation. One interpretation might be your expectation of someone you love not quite being the reality, followed by the fight to try to fix something that’s already too broken. Fans of Blur, Nirvana, The Chats and Depeche Mode may find some familiar ground with this track, but Greebo keep pushing further into experimental music, forging a particularly unique sound. Driven by a charging bassline, enclosed verses with precise rhythms explode into this track’s massive choruses.”

Come At The King – “It’s a Good Life”

Country: UK

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist: “After the pandemic had taken the sting out of Come at the King’s rise and momentum, the band were deciding whether the next call of action was to pack it in. But after over 2 years out, the band return with the blistering new single, It’s A Good Life. Drawing influence from the blues-infused, fast-paced indie sounds of the early 00’s garage rock revival, the song has been compared to early Kings of Leon and White Stripes with its immediate, ferocious impact and high energy.”

Amos Waits – “Adult Rated Fun”

Country: Canada

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From the Artist: “Inspired by Synth-pop bands like Depeche Mode and New Order, Amos Waits recorded this song with Josh Korody (Weaves, The Beaches) at Candle Studios. The lyrics were written on Hanlan’s Point nude beach in Toronto and discuss alternative lifestyle, power dynamics and dream states. Sung in a sassy flirty call response between singers/lovers Leah + Alex, the songs soulful sultry delivery is meant to open doors to a hidden world of pleasures and desire.”

Dubinski – “Fall Right In The Grave”

Country: UK

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist: “Framed by coming to terms with death, ‘Fall Right In The Grave’ serves as the final single from the band’s debut album out Nov 11th. Introduced by a pulsing beat, the track builds into an all out rager with heavy guitar riffs and high energy vocals, eventually ending with a blissful, melodic vocal outro. Perfectly complementing the track, the music video, directed by Martin J Pickering, follows the band as they embark on a spiritual ritual and gives a glimpse of the band’s powerful live performance, which they’ve become known for. ”

Up Against The Phantom – “I Am Sun”

Pistol for Ringo – “Sacred Geometry”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist: “We had a blast recording “Sacred Geometry,” but shooting the video for it was next level crazy… the band performs as furries at a seedy 70’s disco style roller rink/lounge.”

Helena. – “Explain Myself”

Country: Australia

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist: “explain myself is a song that encompasses all those moments you look back on and wish you could change what was said or done, a wanting to replay the moment and make changes to rectify situations. Kris Ulrich – “Friends on the Internet”

Country: Canada

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist: “I had just moved to Toronto. I didn’t know many people there and was feeling quite lonely. But the new scenery had me feeling optimistic and excited about meeting new people, so when I moved back home to Winnipeg in the spring of 2022 I found myself day dreaming about the kind of life I might have had and what kind of people I would have met if I had stayed. This song is about that nervous excitement of new possibilities that come with a new crush.”

Tanzos – “Good Intentions”

Country: Austria

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From the Artist: “Most of us probably know what it would take to make things better. On a personal level but also on larger levels. Unfortunately that doesn’t mean much, unless we turn these intentions into real actions.”

Stone Beach – “Everything Expensive”

Country: Canada

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From the Artist: “Everything is so freaking expensive, this song is about it. Waking my feet, while breaking my knees, around the clock I am so spent, around the clock I’m running out of tolerance. A collaboration with Painted Over Rock, a more classic sounding rock artist, before he officially joined Stone Beach. Takes elements of traditional rock and combines it with nu rock layering.”

Che Aimee Dorval – “Falling Under”

Country: Canada

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist: “The song ‘Falling Under’ is about the pain and heartbreak of watching someone you love destroy themselves,” says Ché. “Ultimately, it’s about losing a friend to addiction. But instead of focusing on pain in the video, I wanted to shine a light on love, support, and connection. On the people who keep you afloat when you feel like you are drowning. And the importance of saving and taking care of yourself, so that in turn you can help take care of those that need you.”

Beauts – “Cave”

Country: Canada

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From the Artist: “To some extent, everyone’s been going through something recently. And so when putting lyrics to this song I wanted to say something encouraging to the people in my life,” says singer & lyricist Jeff Lawton. “I was also thinking about how Michael Stipe writes lyrics, which can often be obscure in one moment and then suddenly earnest and direct. In my mind this song is about a composite character and scenario – flashes of different memories I have – but by the song’s end I just wanted to say something simple and supportive.”
