Tom Minor – “Where Do You See Yourself In Five Years?”

Country: UK

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: We get it, tiger: who would know where we are headed. Still, in a world full of chaos, turmoil and uncertainties it’s natural to strive for peace of mind, even if it tends to take us through some really stormy weather conditions. This rootsy modern-day indie rocker by Tom Minor is a testament to the outspoken songwriter’s versatility as a raconteur, who here nails something very telling of our troubled times, brilliantly emphasised by producer Teaboy Palmer’s wailing harmonica and lush percussion layers.

We Found  The Wreck – “Life Can Bite Me”

Country: UK

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: This is the title track from our debut EP, which we released this week. We’re an alt rock band from Kent, UK, we’ve been super busy this year writing, recording and gigging round the local dive bar scene, and this track is the culmination of all of that!

Dead Cassette – “If Love Was Lost”

Country: US

Genre: Grunge

Words From the Artist/PR: The next chapter of Dead Cassette featuring top of the line production mixed, mastered, and co-written by Danny Cullman. This song marks the debut of drummer Sam Lisko. The message behind the lyrics represents fighting for love, even after it is lost.

JP Kabuhat – “Made Up”

Country: Philippines

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR:  “Made up” is simply the past tense of “make up.” The song describes how the singer has looked through magazines in vain, but there is no one as beautiful as the woman he is singing for. She appears flawless, so brilliant that even the night recognizes her as day. She is beautiful, but the singer is unimpressed. Without the glitz and glam of lights and makeup, he wants to see her natural beauty. Her heart. I wrote this song for my wife, who is well-known in the Philippine entertainment industry. She may be the most beautiful person externally, but what makes her truly special is that her inner beauty is just as stunning, if not more so.

Minor Citizen – “Operator”

Country: Netherlands

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: The song is about the moment my longterm relationship ended and in the middle of that process I suddenly came across someone new

Jodie Langford – “Foefetti”

Country: UK

Genre: Alt Pop

Words From the Artist/PR: Jodie says of the release: “it’s focused on simple lyricism with an up-beat and slightly aggressive vibe. It’s different to other tracks I’ve written that contain more long-winded wordplay. This is a new way of experimenting with my storytelling and adding elements of other genres into my music. I strongly believe this track will ease us both into exploring new musical paths which will give listeners a taste of something different and add more life to our live performance. Also, check out the video where you see me upset and angry that no-one’s turned up, so I destroy the cakes”.

Kristian Montgomery and the Winterkill Band – “The Girl With The Gages In Her Ears”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: We all know her, she’s here then gone..She’s everything you want but can never have

Hannah Wicklund – “Hell In The Hallway”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: Written by Wicklund and Stevie Aiello (of 30 Seconds to Mars), “Hell In The Hallway” tells a story of perseverance and strength through defying the twisted whispers spoken by snakes.

Grund – “Annette”

Country: Sweden

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: Anette is about waking up from an epileptic seizure and the feeling that follows; the feeling that the world around you has turned into a dead world. The inability to hear the people around you looking down, being uncertain if you are awake. Anette and the songs on Avund EP twist and turn through an array of influences, though certain components keep Grund grounded and sounding clearly “Grundesque”, such as the riff-centric, guitar driven soundscapes, the recurrent just-barely-tonal qualities that invoke imagery of abstract horror and the winding, equal parts unpredictable and unreliable, song structures.

Griffin Benton – “Inches From The Edge”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: This is the fifth single off of my upcoming album. It’s an emotional song that I wrote about a friend of mine who was dealing with suicidal thoughts.
