Michael Costantini – “Best of Me”

Country: Canada

Genre: Indie Rock

From The Artist: “Michael Costantini’s new single “Best of Me” is a foot stomping up beat rock song. With deep baritone guitar played by the “Ian Thornley” of “Big Wreck”. Ian Thornley helped produce this song and played the main guitar part on a baritone guitar. Reminiscent of “The Black Keys” and “Sound Garden” this single will fire you up and make you wanna dance.”

Broke Royals – “Revivalism”

Country: US

Genre: Indie Rock

From The Artist: “Produced by Bartees Strange. How do you start again once the momentum has died? Like many bands, we were stopped dead in our tracks with Covid as touring and even practicing was totally out of the question. Interestingly, this had happened to us years before when we had former members quit to go back to school so the feeling felt familiar. Like the phrase “history doesn’t repeat itself but it does rhyme.” We had worked so hard to build momentum and suddenly it felt like none of that mattered at all. On the flip side, when we did get back in the studio we wanted to make music that sounded fun. People forget that, especially in its earliest inception, rock music is dance music. Rock music is party music. In October 2020, right as we first started working on the song, Eddie Van Halen died. It was a gut punch for all of us but extra inspiration to stay true to the mission: make a fun rock song about bringing the party back to life.”

Lunar Division – “Your Lights”

Country: US

Genre: Indie Rock

From The Artist:  “Lunar Division is a four piece alternative rock band out of Oklahoma City. They are four people that appreciate art and music and hope to serve both. The music features loud jangling guitars covered with distortion. The drums and bass are the heart of the music as they give energy and intensity to the songs. Influences go all the way from Black Sabbath and Spoon to Arctic Monkeys and Ty Segall”

Kurt Deemer – “Rearview”

Country: US

Genre: Americana

From The Artist: “Baltimore-based alt-country rocker Kurt Deemer is getting ready to release his third full-length LP, Reclaim the Night (out 5/6). It’s an album about new beginnings and fresh starts, with Deemer — who pulls triple-duty as frontman, songwriter and producer — embracing his solo artistry after an acclaimed run as frontman of The Kurt Deemer Band. Honest and heartfelt, the recordings were transferred to 2-inch tape for analog warmth, with Deemer recruiting DC post-punk veteran J. Robbins (Jawbox, Government Issue) to mix the songs. “We left some of the rough edges,” says Deemer, taking pride in the album’s raw, real, unpolished punch. “We did it old-school.”

Monsonic – “DON’T YOU”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

From The Artist: “Ever wondered what heaven would be like? With a mysterious sense of lyricism and a contagious chorus, DON’T YOU, was made to ask this question, albeit in the darkest sense possible. No, this isn’t shock rock, this is a bit of shoegaze/noise rock mixed into alt rock song structure with an aim to charm and disgust. There are plans to promote the song with content created for social media platforms, as well as paid promotion of the song.”

Neverless – “Stuck In Place”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

From The Artist: “”Stuck in Place” is an atmospheric musical experience that puts listeners in the front seat of a broken down car, before launching in to an innovative, yet familiar, ride through the wonderful world of rock ‘n roll. If you’ve ever felt lost, uninspired, or even out of control in life, you’ll be able to relate to the honest, angst-filled lyrics on display. If you’re a guitar lover, this song has everything you could hope for, from driving, bluesy riffs, to ripping solos. The swinging drums and soulful bass runs will keep your head bobbing; and the tastefully executed horn parts add a musical cherry on top. Neverless has truly honed in on their unique sound with this release, capturing an energy that anyone with a love for rock music can appreciate.”

about:blank – “Lost Child”

Country: Italy

Genre: Rock

From The Artist: Rock

kneedleknees – “Disaster After”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

From The Artist: “noise-pop with a touch of pop-punk influence”

Pure Tonic – “Not Ok”

Country: Germany

Genre: Rock

From The Artist: “The four-piece band from Hamburg declares the pandemic over with their latest single ‘Not OK’ and want to let it rip again in 2022! In the usual manner – without any frills – the guitars drive the beat in front of them again with a roar. Passionate vocals and this unbridled pressure unerringly provide adrenaline. Pure Tonic have stubbornly earned a place in the local hard rock scene over the past few years and leave no doubt that they will continue to follow their path in exactly the same way. After ringing in the new year with ‘Burning Alive’ in February ’22, the set continuation now finds its way into the public with ‘Not OK’. After the debut longplayer of the quartet with the euphonious name ‘Bliss n’ Bleakness’ almost three years ago to the day, Pure Tonic are not tired of working on new ideas and songs.”

Roland Tonies – “Welcome Home”

Country: US

Genre: Indie Rock

From The Artist: “A couple months before the pandemic hit we had decided to take a break. Then the world shut down. After 2 years apart we came back together and created this song to welcome everyone back.”

MONTE – “I Hate Me More”

Country: US

Genre: Punk

From The Artist: “The song, written by singer and guitarist Caitlin Montclare, takes us on a journey of crude self-awareness while we are at our lowest points. Whether it is the result of a toxic relationship, obsessively comparing yourself to others, or feeling unliked, everyone has those moments of low self-esteem or self-consciousness. The song consists of aggressive vocals, ripping riffs and a heavy bass solo. The track was produced by Grammy nominated Barb Morrison and mixed by Jonathan Jetter.”

Shitfire – “Yellowbelly”

Country: US

Genre: Grunge

From The Artist: “It’s the last song on the upcoming ep. It’s a bit slower than most of our songs but the tempo grooves. It’s a good stomping tempo.”

Apathy Avenue – “Something Greater”

Country: UK

Genre: Indie Rock

From The Artist: ““The track is a look into the mind of someone struggling to cope with loneliness in a locked down world, and how they tried and often failed to crescendo into Something Greater. “

Jake Whiskin – “Heatwave

Country: UK

Genre: Indie

From The Artist: “”Gifted Leeds songwriter and storyteller Jake Whiskin, joins the dots between Big Thief and Manchester Orchestra on ‘Heatwave’ – a deep dive into self-destructive tendencies and coming to terms with bittersweet relationships. Subtle layers of feedback and distorted synths juxtapose an otherwise huge pop chorus.”

Souls Worn Thin – “Blur”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

From The Artist: “This was written while being pissed at someone. A liar, a narcissist, a terrible human who I put way too much stock into. Musically, this track was inspired by both Lithium and Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana.”
