Hanna Searl – “My Fantasy”

Country: US

Genre: Indie Rock

YOUR BEST FRIEND’S FAVORITE BAND – “CRASH & BURN”

Country: US

Genre: Pop Rock

From the Artist:  “CRASH & BURN is YBFFB’s pop-star moment. This song is about feeding into initial attraction and temptation of a relationship, otherwise known as the “honeymoon” phase of a relationship. Self-aware that this is not forever, there will be, in true glorious fashion, a CRASH & BURN. This song is a conscious awareness of the stupidity of making these decisions, but without that stupidity there wouldn’t be an emotionally charged, thrilling story.”

The Grand Southern – “Born to Break”

Country: US

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: “”Born to Break” is taken from The Grand Southern’s new album Don’t Say Anything, out on 3/25. The band says on the album, “There’s a great wealth of musicianship in Los Angeles and in our community, bringing our songs into the studio and watching them blossom while playing with some of our favorite people is really a privilege.”

Lorraine-Dietrich – “Hard to be Alone”

Country: US

Genre: Rock

From the Artist: “This song is the first song completed with a new lineup. The song features numerous tempo changes and a accelerando in the form. The lyrical concept explores the duality of loneliness. The first perspective being that it’s depressing to be alone and should be avoided at all costs. The other perspective is that loneliness provides the ultimate freedom to pursue all of your aspirations.”

Courtney McKenna – “Save Yourself”

Country: US

Genre: Pop Rock

From the Artist: “I wrote this song after I learned that my dad was homeless due to his battle with addiction and alcoholism. Unfortunately he passed at the beginning of last year before I was able to share it with him but his passing motivated me to make putting out the single a priority”

I Am Strikes – “Paper Tiger”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist: “a rock anthem with a killer solo”

Robot Safari – “Do It Anyway”

Country: UK

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist:  “We have usually been a more straight forward rock band, but this is our attempt to break out of that slightly. We do use the usual rock instruments, but have mixed in a lot of organ, synthesizers, and chiptune elements. This track stands out among the songs on our upcoming album, but is the start of a new direction following the current album.”

Daniel James McFayden – “Mr. Lipless”

Country: Canada

Genre: Folk

From the Artist: “The song is inspired by a man I met in Guatemala while I was playing there a few years back,” Daniel explains. “I was playing at a bar on Lake Atitlan in a small town called San Marcos La Laguna. While I was playing, a small man with long black hair approached the stage with a bongo drum; he seemed eager to play. I signaled for him to come on-stage and he joined me. We played for hours together only communicating through music and I found it amazing that he was able to adapt to any style he heard while having no context for this western music.”

Carleton Stone – “Monte Carlo”

Country: Canada

Genre: Singer-songwriter

From the Artist: “An emotional blend of folk and classic singer-songwriter influences, “Monte Carlo” features lyrics that are about “the things in our past that aren’t around anymore, or the dreams you might have had when you were young that haven’t come to fruition in the way you hoped,” explains Stone.”

From The Tiger’s Mouth – “Morning News”

Country: UK

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: “The track is a reflection on the overconsumption of media and the strange desire to focus on the negatives first. In a world inundated with fake news and divisive rhetoric, Morning News is a cut through the noise, a call to keep a clear head and keep fighting the good fight.”

Airship Caravan – “Take Me Alive”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist: “This is the first single Take Me Alive off our second album set to release March 25th.”

City Dog – “The Tide”

Country: UK

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist: “This is our second single! We are City Dog, a garage punk 3 piece from Brighton. I wrote this song about trying your hardest to help someone you love who wont help themselves, and having to step back.”

Slow Down Molasses – “Street Haunting (Live)”

Tim Ronan – “Happy New Year”

Country: Canada

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: “Tim Ronan is an accomplished musician and guitarist. Born and raised in a farming community in rural Southern Ontario, Tim has been exposed to the joy and transformative power of music from a very young age, and his earliest work is riddled with the hums of his Irish ancestry. Tim’s passion for music began in his childhood, experimenting with a plethora of instruments (yes, the bagpipes!) and his professionalism has developed as he became a renowned community artist, cherished for the heart and soul that he pours into every song and every show.”
