Two-Man Giant Squid – “Think I’m In Love” (Cover)
Country: US
Genre: Alt Rock
Words From the Artist/PR: “Speaking on the extraordinary cover, the band’s Mitchell Vinkour says “I heard the original on a bus ride home one day and by the end of it I was in tears. We decided to try a version of it to open our live sets on tour last year. Not being fans of completely exact covers and wanting to create a fresh take on it, we re-ordered some elements from Spiritualized’s beautiful arrangement and our version soon became designed to build towards a new psychedelic payoff midway through the song. For a while it was just our live opener and was not intended to be recorded, but over time I realized that the lyrics worked perfectly within the context of this record that we were working on. Everything is call and response and the narrator is struggling to make sense of what he’s experiencing. “I think I’m in love – You’re probably just hungry.” This was recorded at a live studio in Philadelphia during one of our tour stops.”

The Criticals – “Good Lookin”
Country: US
Genre: Alt Rock
Words From the Artist/PR: “The first song Cole and I wrote together back in 2019. I had this wild tomato sauce dream of walking into a disco/art gallery in San Francisco being handed all these letters by a person in hilariously tall pink stiletto heels. I just started recalling my dream on paper as best as I could the next morning overtop a jam we had voice memoed a week or so prior. Then I tried to come up with the most ridiculous, sad, cynical thought I could to tie the dream together. What you got, I used to have. I used to be good lookin” – Parker Forbes

Sorry Marshall – “On The Outside”
Country: US
Genre: Indie Rock
Words From the Artist/PR: “”On the Outside” is the third single from Baltimore Indie-gazers Sorry Marshal’s upcoming album, Back on the Wagon. Blending dreamy shoegaze textures with raw emotion, the song delivers a hypnotic mix of fuzzy guitars and haunting melodies. With introspective lyrics about illusion and deception, it captures the tension between appearances and reality. Fans of shoegaze-inspired rock will find themselves lost in its gripping atmosphere and anthemic choruses.”

In Covert – “Darkfields”
Country: US
Genre: Punk
Words From the Artist/PR: “’Darkfields’ was originally written during the pandemic. Behind the high energy of the song was an emotional explosion of frustration about fear and anxiety of the future. I was on the edge of losing my mind. Worrying about the path of destruction our civilization is going. It connects to this current time in 2025 with new fears and anxiety about our future.”

Sean Skyler – “Only In Stereo”
Country: US
Genre: Alt Rock
Words From the Artist/PR: “”Only In Stereo” captures the tension between desire and reality, with the protagonist caught in a one-sided love where his affection is not reciprocated in a meaningful way. The “stereo” represents a form of escape or a distraction that keeps the girl emotionally unavailable. It’s a narrative of yearning, self-awareness, and the heartache of feeling like you’re investing in something that’s never going to fully return your affection.”

Sarah Shafey – “Messin’ Around”
Country: Canada
Genre: Alt Rock
Words From the Artist/PR: “There is a vintage charm oozing through new single Messin Around, evoking 1960s-era girl groups, but with edgy guitars that uphold Paper Bag Princess’s 1990s grunge aesthetic. The song addresses the shock of re-entering the dating scene after years of being off-market. “It is about the universal experience of heartbreak and rejection. We’ve all been there, but instead of wallowing or overthinking, I’ve learned to take it in stride. I’ve realized that being comfortable with myself is the key to attracting the right people.”
