Gunner Lee – “Hey Dakota”

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: “A pop rock song in the vein of early 2000’s rock (Wheatus, Smashmouth, Weezer). Part of an upcoming EP ‘Catalina and the Geneva and the Convention’ a compilation of songs about my exes.”

Buddy Wynkoop – “Racing”

Words From the Artist/PR: “”Racing” is our 2nd single off our forthcoming debut LP out this fall!”

Modern Moxie – “Don’t Look At Me”

Country: US

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: “”Don’t Look at Me”, best described as an anti-Botox indie rock/pop punk anthem, courageously confronts the pressures faced by women in both society and the music industry. “Don’t Look at Me” unveils the journey of self-discovery and resilience amidst the unyielding expectations of youth and beauty along with the pressures to work a “normal job”. A defiant proclamation against superficial standards. A rallying cry for authenticity in an industry and society obsessed with image over substance and financial security over a creatively expressive life.”

Mothman and The Thunderbirds – “So Long (Portal Hopper)”

Country: US

Genre: Pop Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: “”So Long (Portal Hopper)” is the second single from Mothman and The Thunderbirds’ new album Portal Hopper. Portal Hopper is a concept album that can best be described as dream metal – an eclectic mix of adventurous prog, thrilling hard rock, and dreamy psychedelia. “So Long (Portal Hopper)” is a bizarre yet energetic and catchy track – featuring slap bass, captivating vocal melodies, vibrant synths, and a stunning guitar solo. Recommended for fans of Devin Townsend, The Armed, Dan Deacon, Astronoid, Moon Tooth, Torche, and Fang Island.”

June Body – “Agree To Stop”

Country: Canada

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: ““Agree to Stop,” is about Connor’s seven-year relationship coming to an end. Even though he and his partner were both still in love with each other, there was this pervasive feeling of understanding that the end was what was right for both of them. It was such a difficult experience to have to agree that they’d be better apart.”

Not The Author – “Running Back”

Country: Canada

Genre: Alt Metal

Words From the Artist/PR: “This song is the debut single on our upcoming 2nd EP, “Short Stories”. The song is recorded and produced by the band as with all aspects of our releases, is completely independent and DIY.”

Jess Hess – “She-Ra”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: “This song is a tongue-in-cheek female rage anthem written in the perspective of a man who was sexually harassing me online.”

Ian Conboy – “Now and Then”

Country: Canada

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: “This song came from a brief meeting with a woman on the street while loading my gear after a gig. She had a cool story and it just sounded rock and roll!”

BCOS RSNS – “Turn It Off”

Country: UK

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: “I came up with the riff ages ago, but never had a sense of lyrics. Matt suggested that it be about conspiracy theories and we came up with some of the words including the chorus, and laughed ourselves silly playing it at a rehearsal room. It mirrored the problems I had of being unable to get through a performance of it without breaking down giggling, and worrying that if I did people might think we were serious. So, the third verse – directly stating the thesis – means I can at least keep a straight face. I’ve been trying to write a bit more about the message of the song, but I can’t. I don’t have any answers to any of it. It’s frustrating. So, in this song, I can achieve a temporary catharsis. Maybe that’s the bit I’ve been trying to write.”

Brett Benowitz – “We Won”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: “This is my heaviest most intense song ever and perfect for workout playlists or anything to get you fired up. The song is about how in the end, good always triumphs over evil. People think the end is near but I believe it’s the beginning of a new age and we’ve already won.”

dayspill – “Quick, To The Falcon Car!”

Country: US

Genre: Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: “This pop-punk track is off my very first EP of solo work. The project is focused on themes of mental health and the desire to be/feel better. This one is short, sweet, and to the point; the song doesn’t take itself too seriously.”
