Ships Have Sailed – “Find My Way”
Country: US
Genre: Indie Rock
Words From the Artist/PR: Indie-rock duo Ships Have Sailed embrace fresh perspective with ‘Find My Way’. An upbeat quirky tune with a story that contains a depth that might surprise fans. Uniquely crafted from a decades long love story about a couple who embarked on the adventure of a lifetime. Although cut short due to an untimely passing, the song is not a sad one. Giving listeners a gentle reminder about what is most important in life: make the memories while you can and live your best life to the degree you are able.

Lives Lost – “Champagne”
Country: US
Genre: Alt Metal
Words From the Artist/PR: CHAMPAGNE is about the people around you who doubt you. You know the ones: That “friend” that secretly thinks your band sucks, wishes bad stuff upon you, throwing bad juju at you, etc. We used Champagne as the title because Champagne tastes good but gives you a bad headache if you drink too much of it, and bad relationships/friendships are like that. Good at first, but always leave you feeling hungover.

Loose Buttons – “I Saw Jon Hamm At The Beach”
Country: US
Genre: Indie Rock
Words From the Artist/PR: “It was one of those idyllic beach days — the sky blue, the air just right. And then, out of the corner of my eye, the man himself Jon Hamm. There he was, a perfect ‘symbol of the ideal man’ who, in reality, was just simply another beachgoer, casually playing kadema and sharing the day with his loved ones. As a huge fan of his work, seeing him out there, just being a regular dude, felt wonderfully refreshing. The whole experience debunked the ‘leading man’ facade I’ve often attributed to him. So, if you ever get the chance, I highly recommend seeing Jon Hamm at the beach— it’s a life changing experience.”

Movie Night – “The Best”
Country: US
Genre: Alt Rock
Words From the Artist/PR: The knife edge you’re both standing on cuts deep. Goodbye forever? Or tumble back into a love well-worn but well-torn? “The Best” is the choice between what is right and what is easy. A walls-down plea stutters through an AM radio verse, morphing into a hi-fi emo anthem as heartbreak itself becomes your soulmate. You’re bad for each other in the best way. Easily the most asked about after a show, the song has been crowd-tested and approved from small rooms to arenas opening for Yung Gravy, Tai Verdes, & American Authors.

Naxx – “Time Has Run Away”
Country: Canada
Genre: Pop Rock
Words From the Artist/PR: Song is about coming to terms with life moving faster than one would like, and not playing out the way you imagined it and struggling with confidence and self-worth while being loved by someone so dearly and attempting to relax and find peace in a constant rush of time.

The Bad Actors – “Nothing Comes To Mind”
Country: UK
Genre: Indie Rock
Words From the Artist/PR: After their debut Help Me Lose My Mind garnered >6,500 total streams in its first month, The Bad Actors strike back with Nothing Comes To Mind. An alternative look at the end of a relationship, where modern indie rock draws from 60s pop groups. Slamming drums hold down the bouncing bass line whilst the interior monologue of an adulterous boyfriend muses melodically overhead. Despite the song’s lyrical theme, like good coffee, this song leaves you energised, uplifted and wanting another.

The Baby Seals – “Mild Misogynist”
Country: UK
Genre: Indie Rock
Words From the Artist/PR: Filmed in the fens by Kat Cashman, The Baby Seals return with a home-made video for Mild Misogynist. The band wanted to do what they do best, which is to dick about and have a good time. Their props were found/made on the day with the help of Kerry and Amy’s Uncle Wilf. They raided their Auntie Maggie’s wardrobe for extra props. Kerry’s recently been watching Humpty Dumpty and the twirlywoos with her 2 year old and used this as inspiration for the bands egg costumes (hula hoops and dust sheets) and “choreography”.

Not Exotic – “Keep Swinging”
Country: US
Genre: Indie Rock
Words From the Artist/PR: “This song means a lot to me,” explains Not Exotic mainman Chad Ray Turner. “This refrain came to me while I was at a real low point; getting beat up by a lot of self-doubt and self-loathing and feeling like you’re losing. ‘Just – Keep – Swinging’ became like a mantra for me and this song came out so naturally as an expression of that whole process. To co-write it with my brother (Jason Ford Turner) and record it live with my ‘Lawrence Kansas Dreamteam Band’ of friends just completes a perfect circle for me.”
