leeny jones – “Night Swimming”

Country: Canada

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: This is the second single off my debut EP “Burn Out”. I wrote this song when I was going through a really hard time, feeling angsty, frustrated, and I was drinking way too much whiskey. The lyrics are meant to bring you back to a place of looking back on bad times with rose coloured glasses.

Wesley Wolffe – “Streets”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR:  “Streets” follows a theme of egotism that Wesley has both interacted with and observed in his daily life. The unique perspective of the song is that of a narcissist. Wesley displays the narrator’s feelings of insecurity and their constant denial of the truth through repetition and the spiraling question, “can they just ask me?” The single was recorded and produced by Pope’s Matt Seferian in his New Orleans Mid-City studio. Other collaborators on the track include Wesley’s brother Turner Wolffe on bass and Rob Florence on drums.

Goddamn Wolves – “Older, Slower”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: “Older, Slower” is the new single from Raleigh indie rock trio Goddamn Wolves. The song was recorded by Max Gowan at Found After Dark Studio and features punky riffs combined with male/female vocal interplay. Think X meets the New Pornographers.

Blinker The Star – “Swimming In The Same Fire”

Country: Canada

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: “Swimming In The Same Fire” was written about communicating over long distances with someone special, sending music back and forth over the internet, and feeling the same rush that lovers must have felt sending furtive messages via carrier pigeons in ancient times, the endless human traditions that morph in form but not meaning over time

Shiny Red Nothing – “Let Me Be Your Liquor Man”

Country: US

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: A fun, rambunctious party song about being an alcoholic, Let Me Be Your Liquor Man was named after the long-standing message on the marquee of Newport, KY’s infamous Big Daddy’s Drive-Thru Liquor store.

James Black – “I Like This”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: In “I Like This,” I’m taking you on a ride through my everyday life mixed with the cool vibes of Austin. The video shows what it’s like just being me in this city I love. It’s like my life jamming out to the beats of Austin’s streets, you know? The visuals groove with the music, giving you a feel for the real me in this awesome city. It’s all about those chill moments in Austin that make life cool. “I Like This” is like a laid-back visual vibe, a video about just being myself and soaking in the good vibes of the city.

Amoeba Arena – “Mountain”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: “5th Track on our Debut EP, starts with twinkly picked guitar and eventually slows to a breakdown with trumpet and syncopated rhythmic heavy guitar. Powerful Lyrics and a consistent vocal melody”

Frat Mouse – “burning”

Country: US

Genre: Shoegaze

Words From the Artist/PR: This is the closing track to our fourth album, Flea House, coming out on January 5th. We are an LA college band, and the whole album was made in run-down USC student housing, known by its residents and visitors as Flea House.

Noah Sties – “BINGO”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: “Bingo” takes a fresh approach to breakup anthems, portraying the inner conflict of ending a promising relationship despite feeling fortunate. The initiator grapples with the difficulty of letting their significant other down. With a fresh bedroom-punk sound, “Bingo” serves as the second single to debut album “Sungold” by Noah Sties.

Lilac Angel – “Matte Black Batman”
