Mom Rock – “Close Your Eyes”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist: Close Your Eyes is a love song ode to everyones first celebrity crush. It details the manic daydreaming that some do when they fall in love with said celebrity: buying a house together, going on a romantic vacation, owning a dog, etc.

Lucifers Beard – “Frog Class”

Country: UK

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist: Like the ebb and flow of the seasons of a year; friendships come and go, enemies can become friends and loved ones leave us. We are all part of the Frog Class.

Dustin McKamie – “I Don’t Need Another Lover (But I Want You)”

Country: US

Genre: Americana

Words From the Artist: Announcing my debut album release (Coming Aug/Sept)! This song is one of the more upbeat, light-hearted tracks to add to the melancholy, jaded lover sentiment that the rest of the album encompasses. This is 1 of 8 tracks that will be included on the upcoming album

Walter The Producer – “Since September”

Country: US

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From PR: Video Concept: As the apocalypse rages outside Walter must find creative ways to occupy his time to keep himself from going insane. Throughout the course of this video, we see Walter as he transitions from being just bored to progressively more and more unstable as he starts to lose his mind. We open on Walter hiding inside his apartment the room is barricaded with wood panels as sun rays pour into the room he’s dirty as if he hasn’t showered in weeks throughout the sequence he kills time by smoking, making miniature friends(balls painted with faces), and performing into a camcorder for a self-tape. Towards the end of the video, Walter feels a strange presence from the door leading into the outside world as the paranoia starts to fully take over he whips out a gun and slowly makes his way to check it out. Walter kicks open the door as he’s blinded by the light. The song cuts out and we see him standing just outside his building looking out into the street. There never was any apocalypse.

If By Whiskey – “Eliza”

Country: US

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From the Artist: Eliza tells the story of a love song – in reverse. The first verse introduces us to the couple who have fallen out of love. She is waiting by the door with her bags and the baby in the car, he is watching as she goes. It then tells the story of when they first fell in love, and how they became inseparable to each other. The song is both a celebration of love, and a reminder of how fleeting it can be.

Gilded Creatures – “I Can Get Morose”

Country: US

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From the Artist:  I Can Get Morose is an upbeat dream-pop ballad featuring a lush soundscape juxtaposed with melancholic lyrics written from the perspective of a narrator deep in the throes of depression. It shines an unapologetic light on mental illness while maintaining a hopeful sonic atmosphere. It is a song about depression that could be played at a house party.

LOSTSLEEP – “Kaleidoscope”

Country: Ukraine

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From PR: Kaleidoscope is a new song by Ukrainian indie-artist LOSTSLEEP from his album IV, released 4 August 2023. This is an indie post-punk song with overall melancholic mood that gives you a feeling of hope with its strong guitar riffs, soft female vocals and bright climax.

Aaron Wylder – “Horseplay”

Country: Canada

Genre: Americana

Words From the Artist: “I am one of three brothers and I sit in the middle of the pack. I say pack because we are truly a pack of wild animals. There wasn’t much to do growing up in the Caribbean so we made our own fun. Fishing, blowing stuff up, backyard sports, home movies, you name it. We caused mayhem. I wrote this jam in late 2022 and was playing it a lot at shows. I always knew it was about my brothers and even had the name. Fast-forward to a few months ago and Horseplay was born. Brothers need to be wild. They need to get out there and hurt each other a little every once in a while. We grew from this. It is a part of what binds us together for life.”

Crossed Wires – “Looped”

Country: Canada

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From PR: “Looped,” is about getting stuck in an anxiety-fueled thought loop. You replay a scenario over and over in your head, wondering if it’s your fault, wondering what’s real and what’s just your brain playing tricks on you. The song itself mimics that with looping riffs that bleed into one another. The band had been sitting on 4 out of the 6 songs on this record for nearly 6 years, and it was time to finish an EP so those songs could be out in the world. It finally took shape after a long period of intense writer’s block and self-doubt on frontperson Heather Grant’s part, and a couple freshly written songs. The album’s title Ellipsis speaks to that feeling of leaving things unfinished, but also having more to say but not quite saying it.

Dave Spivak Project – “Got Too Pushed”

Country: Canada

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist: When you’ve had it and can’t take it anymore you’ve “Got Too Pushed!” Dave Spivak goes back to his roots and hit’s heavy on this relatable Organic Rock banger!
