Good Time Locomotive – “Step Into The Light”
Country: UK
Genre: Alt Rock
Words From the Artist: ‘As soon as James (GTL drummer) and I heard the song, we knew it had to be about a subject close to our hearts. Having both had our own struggles with mental health issues, we knew we had to dig deep to make this song a very special one indeed. We feel like we’ve achieved that and hope that anyone listening to it can relate to the message behind it’.

Witch Weather – “Don’t Need”
Country: US
Genre: Punk
Words From the Artist: “Don’t Need was me finally figuring out how to write an angry song. Normally when I try to do it the song turns into something sad and depressing but in this case we finally executed the way I would have liked. Especially on the album version of the track. Lyrically it’s about being fed up with being taken advantage of. Recording the guitar solo made me want to explode, it’s not hard to play by any means I just kept messing it up.” – Kaitlynn, Witch Weather “Don’t Need was really fulfilling for me to sing since I have been really self-conscious about my voice. I was always told I wasn’t a singer and that was the first time I felt I accomplished something vocally. Prior to this single, I pretty much only wrote and played my bass lines. I was and still am a part of songwriting decisions like song form, theme, etc. But this was the first time I performed something else on a recording which led to me doing backups on other tracks as well. it’s been a good conference booster because even though I took vocal lessons in college, and no shade to that teacher, I just still hadn’t really found my voice. and now Don’t Need has allowed me to start that journey.” – Juliann, Witch Weather

IN LIFE – “Deliverance”
Country: US
Genre: Indie Rock
Words From the Artist: “We wrote Deliverance (and most of the album) in the midst of COVID, by emailing instrumentals and vocal tracks back and forth. For us, the song represents the anxiety we felt about the precariousness of life, society, and stability we previously took for granted. That’s probably why we started out the song with those frantic cymbal crashes and building guitars– to convey that weird, frantic feeling so many of us felt at that time.”

Back with her first single in three years, which has been lifted from her upcoming debut album “The Crazy One”, “Heaven Sent You” is an alternative rock track about one of the best nights of her life. “I performed at a festival with my band to hundreds, possibly a thousand people or so in Bewdley, and the crowd and I instantly ‘clicked’. They were singing along to my songs, dancing and even forming moshpits (!!!) (which they referred to as Mogg Pits), it was incredible. This song is an ode to that night and how it reminded me that doing music is one of my callings in life”, shares Chloe.

Dick Dudley – “Salt”
Country: Australia
Genre: Post-Punk
Words From PR: Potentially the biggest neopost-not-punk band in the hemisphere, Dick Dudley, unveils a delicious new single, “Salt”! This sodium-fueled, high cholesterol anthem is an unapologetic tribute to all those battling kidney disease, a foible that hits a little too close to home for the band but they’re leaning into it and celebrating the experience with a teaspoon of spite. Gritty storytelling that edges between “Seriously, I have a disease” and “I’ll just go fuck myself” will make you want to come back for a second serving. Angsty guitars intertwine with thundering drums that mirror the emotionally debilitating struggle of living with kidney disease. The all too charismatic Richie, delivers this one with unyielding passion. His haunting vocals soar through the track, with the desperation of a man craving for a bit of flavour. For the love of god, give this man a cheeseburger!

Jet City Sports Club – “Drug Store (Waste My Time)”
Country: Australia
Genre: Pop Rock
Words From the Artist: “[We] worked at breaking down the initial seed/idea of the song and re-shaping it to be more storytelling and melodically catchy. After finishing the writing of the song core (guitar and vocals), we set to work deciding what type of beats and bass lines and frills we wanted throughout the song. We honestly were just having a great time figuring out how the song should sound in between lunch breaks of Chinese dumplings and cups of coffee.” LILLA OBRADOVIC, JET CITY SPORTS CLUB (
