Let’s jump into this Smarch weekend with a handful of great tunes to get in the proper Friday mood. Here are eight new tracks worth a listen and repeat!

Kicking off the list with a new track from five piece alternative folk rock band, Shred Kelly. “Dead Leaves” is an energy-packed tune with great harmonies and a mix of acoustic and electric instruments.
PINEO x LOEB & Glass Tiger – “This Is Your Life”
Here’s a new collaboration between Glass Tiger and Pineo x Loeb – plus, the added bonus of backup vocals from FTS favourite Matt Mays!
Frank Moyo – “Friend of Mine”
Frank Moyo is a Toronto-based musician with smooth vocals and a folk/pop sound, which are well-featured in this new single, “Friend of Mine”.
LPX – “New Mood”
At first listen, this song reminded me of a poppier version of The Kills (who are one of my favourite bands). LPX is the solo project of Lizzy Plapinger, co-founder of Neon Gold Records, and lead singer of MS MR. Check out the new single!
James Clark Hangover – “It’s Alright Now”
James Clark Hangover is the moniker of David Clark, who spend the 80s and 90s in punk bands, opening for acts like Discharge, Circle Jerks, Black Flag and more. After a music hiatus, David return with James Clark Hangover – here’s his latest track, “It’s Alright Now”.
I, The Mountain – ” Little Wild”

Vancouver indie rock band Small Town Artillery recently released their latest single, “Day As An Arrow”, dedicated to the Wet’suwet’en people of northern BC. Along with a powerful message, it’s an insanely likable song. We’re looking forward to hearing their brand new EP, out today.
