Wild Horse

Sussex, England-based indie pop trio Wild Horse have found international critical acclaim for their music, and are proving themselves as a band that should be on your radar. Formed by brothers Jack and Henry Baldwin and their friend Ed Barnes, Wild Horse is an indie group creating a “guitar pop” style with elements of funk, Brit rock, and classic rock. Ahead of their first UK tour, the band has just released the latest single, “Angles” – a catchy indie pop track with melodic vocals and catchy guitar riffs.

“Angles” ruminates on the eternal problem of daring to make the first move in revealing one’s feelings,” says the band of their new single. “It’s a tour de force from a fast-rising band full of confidence and flair. Yet, when it comes to love… everyone’s confused about the angles.

Wild Horse creates a full sound for a band with only three members. Infectious and melody-driven from the very start, “Angles” uses guitar riffs to create a mellow pop mood while giving a nod to an indie rock style. This is the type of song that will have you absent-mindedly bopping along to the beat while contemplating the relatable lyrics. Harmonies and melodies are the star of the show here, with backups that stand out just as much as the main vocals. Give this track a listen once, and you’re sure to want to listen again and again.
