S.C.A.B. – “Tuesday”

Country: US

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: “”Tuesday” is a song about disillusionment with trying to form meaningful connections, and searching aimlessly for something worthwhile. There’s a scene from Seinfeld where Newman says “Tuesday has no feel. Monday has a feel, Friday has a feel…” and that type of unspecific, hard to pinpoint vibe is what I wanted to express with the lyrics… you’re trying to get through the week, find any ounce of happiness to cling on to (sitting in the sun, feeling it burning your skin), looking for something but not finding it.”

No Signal – “Jane”

Country: US

Genre: Rock

From the Artist: “Jane is a rather simple track really, definitely our most simple. To avoid a dense answer it’s about reflecting on something that could have been, but realizing that and your mistakes much later on. People can take and apply that in different ways of course, for me it was a specific set of events that lead to the development of that theme.”

TRUTHTELLER – “2am”

Country: UK

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist:  “When you close your eyes and your mind is hysterically busy, sometimes the best thing to do is take advantage of everything you’re feeling. Use the hysteria to grow, and become something better.”

Max Fite – “The Glow”

Country: US

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: “”The Glow” is about me being a waiter and not being able to get the hot famous girl only because I’m the help and she knows how dope she is basically. She wants me but would rather flirt and tease me.”

False London – “Therapy”

Country: Australia

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist:  “Therapy is a Indie Rock jam that id dedicated to those that have been through toxic relationships, eventually realising they are blue with these people and golden by themselves.”

Sharper Side – “The Bad Place”

Country: UK

Genre: Post-Punk

From the Artist: “This song is about waking up with a hangover and a concussion and wanting out of the hellish mental and physical state it put me in. We think most people can relate to the fine line between enjoying a buzz and the room starting to spin – the chorus hook ‘Suddenly I’m slipping away, closer and closer to The Bad Place’. Musically the song combines our signature distorted bass sound with driven melodic guitar solos, blending punk with hard rock.”

Fendahlene – “Get Over It” (Kevin Shirley Mix)

Country: UK

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist: “This is a remix of a track from our last album. We wanted a mix with the energy and snap we felt best suited the narrative of the song, whcih is why we turned to Kevin Shirley (Iron Maiden, Silverchair, Black Crowes). With strong influences from garage and punk-pop, Get Over It doesn’t mess about – blunt, emotive, with a dry, ‘end-of-my-tether’ delivery. Get Over It is about the built-up frustrations caused by situations spiralling out of control – when all logic and reason get lost. Yet, amongst this, we find seeds of hope. This is the challenge we pose –let it go, or make a real effort to improve things?”

Wreath – “Burn”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist: “Burn is a song about comparison and the relationship between different emotions and physical feelings. It’s about how a certain person or event can bring about relief, pain, guilt, all types of things and how at the heart of all of that is simply the connection between all events.”

Squadcar – “Let’s Stay Alone”

Country: Canada

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: “Indie rockers, Squadcar, are known for their passionate and emotionally charged rock songs. Since emerging in the early 2000s in Tokyo, Squadcar have played dozens of shows for 10 and sometimes over 20 people in the audience. It is this talent for attracting a small crowd that has made them the perfect band for the pandemic. After all, the fewer the people, the better we feel. This is feel good music. This is Squadcar.”

The Shatterheads – “A Friend With A Car”

Country: Sweden

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: “We recorded this track at Swedens perhaps most famous studio – Tambourine Studios. Joar Sylvan, our producer, did an excellent job at digging out the tracks psychedelic undertones while still allowing it to be what it was written as – a pop rock song in all earnestness. We are currently signed to legendary UK indie-label Fierce Panda whom will promote it across different platforms and radio.”

Goalkeeper – “Sooner”

Country: US

Genre: Punk

From the Artist: “Produced by Kevin Mahoney of Hit the Lights and Nik Bruzzese of Man Overboard. First single of the upcoming LP “I Wish I Met You Sooner” out this fall!”

Skofja – “Epilog”

Country: Germany

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist: “This one was hella fun to make, we wanted to vent some anger and go a bit more Biffy Clyro-esque in the second half. So you got this punk-alt inbred which is what we are gonna pursue further. The lyrics resemble a “how the fuck did we end up here” mood, musically it has a dark twist to it and it is a blast to play it live!”

Nocturnal Animals – “A Simple Fuck You”

Country: Australia

Genre: Garage Rock

From the Artist: “This song is a big middle finger to someone that has thrown your heart in the dirt! Sing it loud and let them hear it!”

AUDISOUP – “Orange Sherbet Skies”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist: “When I wrote this song I was listening to a lot of The 1975 and Tame Impala. I wrote it for a short film involving an art heist. I was staring at a painting my brother painted while plucking away at the synth and it all fell into place. I decided I would write lyrics to it and make it into a song for my own project. I transposed the music to guitar and real drums to have a more organic sound. The Reverb-y crooning vocals are similar to Depeche Mode. It’s a bit dark and 80s inspired but has some light gleaming in it as well”

Project Atlantic – “This Feeling”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist: “I wanted to write a song about the moments of immense joy we all experience at some point. I think everyone can relate to that feeling never wanting to end, even if every person around us is saying that it won’t.”
