Rival Saints – “Learning to Live”

Country: UK

Genre: Pop Rock

From the Artist: “‘Learning to Live’ – the brand new second single from Rival Saints, is a tower of electronic pop built upon walls of synth textures and layer upon layer of killer vocals. LTL was produced by the band’s own Alex McNutt in their Glasgow studio and is accompanied by visuals art-directed by graphic designers Mike and Ewan, in keeping with the band’s in-house DIY ethic.”

Lee Cleaveland & The Lefthand Band – “Cyborg Man”

Country: US

Genre: Classic Rock

From the Artist: “The lead single off of our debut full length album, “Cyborg Man” is a straight forward, hard hitting, soon to be rock & roll classic. Lee Cleaveland was born missing his left arm and shreds guitars solos with only one hand. When he’s not playing guitar, he wears a state of the art mind controlled bionic hand. “Cyborg Man” is a track that was written to celebrate both of these things.”

Sonofold – “J The Same”

Country: South Africa

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: “SonOfOld is the project of South African singer songwriter, Nic Olsen. Olsen is best known as one of the front men for early 2000‘s alternative rock band Perez. The band enjoyed success with songs like ‘Picture Perfect’, ‘Dreams and Troubles’ and ‘Wasted Out’. Nic was a member of the Parlotones for a short while in 2009 and contributed to the band’s song writing up until 2018. Notable tracks include the band’s well-known hit “Push me to the Floor”.

Chester Doom – “Bleed”

Country: Canada

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist: “This is the first song we wrote together as a band. We decided to release it as the follow up single to our debut “Monsoon” as it has a different vibe but still showcases the heaviness/groove from that one.”

Komparrison – “Loose Lips”

Country: UK

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist: “Talking about the new track, Komparrison share: “Loose Lips explores the toxicity of modern world dating and the negative connotations of how society views women through hook up culture. Word of wisdom… NEVER DATE A BOY IN A BAND!””

Cassidy Mann – “Since I Met You”

Country: Canada

Genre: Indie Pop

From the Artist:  “Fit for a film, cinematic “Since I Met You” sees a vulnerable protagonist telling a close friend ‘I’m in love with you and always have been.’ Cassidy explains, “I loved the idea of this song existing in a moment that is very ‘now or never.’ Like on your last night with the person you’re in love with before they get on the train to leave forever.”

Comet Lenny – “Main Street”

Country: USA

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: “This song was written and recorded in a small Colorado mountain town. It’s about moving to a new place and the eerie feeling of it feeling “too perfect”.

Wouldn’t Say – “Emily Jean

Country: Canada

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist: “This song is a tribute to my grandmother, who died of dementia just over a year ago. COVID restrictions meant I couldn’t be there for her funeral, so this song is my best version of a goodbye.”

LJ & The Sleeze – “I’m Bad”

Country: USA

Genre: USA

From the Artist: “Starting in a small basement in Richmond, VA LJ & The Sleeze is a punk rock outfit heavily influenced by New York and LA music out of the 70s and 80s. Combining distorted guitars, driving drums, and groovy bass lines LJ & The Sleeze have been cultivating a sound you’ve never heard before. Max Gottesman writes all of these parts with a fury that’ll surely have you hooked immediately.”

Ocie Elliott – “With The Lights Down”

Country: Canada

Genre: Folk

From the Artist: “’With the Lights Down’ was written after Sierra’s last birthday, which takes place on June 21 – the summer solstice,” remembers Jon Middleton. “It was a beautiful and warm early summer evening, and we had a beach party to celebrate. It was the first time in a while where we were seeing people outside of our core friend groups. The night was magical with music, conversation, and ocean swims. The song points to the feeling left-over from the celebration: a mixture of love, happiness and gratitude.”

LEONE – “Monochrome Colors”

Country: USA

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: “”Monochrome Colors”, out Friday, March 4th, is a vulnerable and emotive song about death & how nothing lasts forever. It’s a warning not to take the ones we love for granted. The lyrics paint a picture of having everything and losing it all in the blink of an eye. This track is the lead single off of LEONE’s debut EP which is a project about giving himself permission to mourn the death of his father as well as the death of a relationship.”

Meguro – “You Destroy Me”

Country: Canada

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: “The inspiration behind the song is the idea that being destroyed by someone can mean that you’re madly in love. “Someone once said to me that it wasn’t a good idea for us to date because ‘We would destroy each other,’ and I remember thinking ‘Well yeah, you destroy me, but that’s a GOOD thing!” said songwriter Bob MacKendrick. “I don’t think she thought of it in the same way though.”

Buckets – “Ghost of the Present”

Country: USA

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: “”Ghost of the Present” is the latest single by Los Angeles-based indie band Buckets. As the first release since their debut full length dropped in 2021, the new song is definitely one of the most unique, emotive, and polished songs in the band’s catalog. “Ghost of the Present” combines the group’s classic elements of ambient field recordings, vulnerable lyrics, and explosive instrumentation.”
