Tristan Armstrong – “Queen of Diamonds”
Country: Canada
Genre: Indie Rock
Words From the Artist/PR: “In a literal sense, the song is about playing cards. I had imagined a game of poker being played in the kitchen of an apartment late at night. A small apartment, like one that’s above a shop. A shabby student sort of place with a formica top table that has cigarette burns on it, and maybe a low-hanging stained glass like fixture casting a yellowish glow. The kind of place you might end up at as an after party location following a show at a bar.”

Jeremy & the Harlequins – “All That I’ve Got”
Country: US
Genre: Indie Rock
Words From the Artist/PR: “Perfect for Valentine’s Day and packed with thick harmonies, timeless melodies, and lush production, the song is a modern love letter to 70’s power pop. Inspired by legends like Jeff Lynne and Nick Lowe, with a dash of Roy Orbison’s iconic sound, the track is sure to strike a chord with fans of classic pop rock. Recorded in Brooklyn with producer Mike Abiuso, “All That I’ve Got” features all the hallmarks of a timeless hit: infectious hooks, layered harmonies, and even a timpani flourish reminiscent of Orbison’s “You Got It.” According to Jeremy Fury, the inspiration for the song struck after a concert that reignited his passion for the genre.”

Takes An Army – “You and Me”
Country: Canada
Genre: Punk
Words From the Artist/PR: “Hamilton-based punk trio Takes an Army returns with their electrifying new single, “You and Me.” A high-energy track packed with emotional depth, “You and Me” blends melodic punk and ska influences to create a song that’s as introspective as it is infectious. Inspired by personal hardship and the power of connection, “You and Me” reflects on unexpected moments in life that bring people together. Originally written in a slower ska style, the band reworked it into a driving, anthemic punk song with a chorus made to be shouted back at live shows.”

Paul Linton – “Down The Lane”
Country: UK
Genre: Alt Rock
Words From the Artist/PR: “This is the opening track on my newly released Sticky Beaks EP, which is my first release as Paul Linton. This song has evolved over recent years, is a permanent fixture in my live set and the recording reflects the fuller, more distorted sound that I have developed in recent years.”

The Martha’s Vineyard Ferries – “Context”
Country: US
Genre: Punk
Words From the Artist/PR: “I became obsessed with the song ‘Context’ after seeing the film You Weren’t There in 2007 in Chicago. It was a bit of a fluke that I was even there. The film documents the Chicago punk scene from 1977-1985, and during the screening, about 800 people were in the crowd—several fights broke out between old punk rivals! That night, there was a show at the Empty Bottle where Strike Under performed, and I instantly fell in love with their song ‘Context.’ At some point, I suggested to the Ferries that we play this incredible lost classic, and we started playing it live, which eventually led to the idea of recording it as a single.”

Quinine – “World Tattoo”
Country: US
Genre: Alt Rock
Words From the Artist/PR: The name world tattoo was something I was thinking about as a representation for all of the irreversible things people are doing/have done to the world. Like we’re all collectively giving the world a non consensual tattoo when we do fucked up shit.”
—
Highroad No. 28 – “Drugeater”
Country: Australia
Genre: Alt Rock
Words From the Artist/PR: “letting go, having fun, staying true to oneself.”
—
Tirgu Mures – “Can’t Save Me”
Country: Sweden
Genre: Alt Rock
Words From the Artist/PR: “Can’t Save Me is trying to capture the internal struggle of coming to peace with the harsh realities of childhood, making mistakes, and grappling with the weight of anxiety and guilt. The past’s lingering effects, where the beauty of nature collides with the scars of youth. Maybe just a little anthem for those who have wrestled with their past, but are still searching for peace?”

Demonship – “The Voice In The Noise”
Country: US
Genre: Grunge
Words From the Artist/PR: “At the edge of losing ourselves in this ever changing world, being reminded that taking care of yourself is the most important thing you can do. You can find a sense of light where no light has been before. You can survive and feel the warmth of sun again. It’s not too late to rebuild who you were, into the new person you are.”
