Rich Freed – “Peace of Mind”

Country: Canada

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: “Peace of Mind is a song that delves into my journey of self-reflection and the quest for inner peace, as I ponder questions about my identity, choices, and life’s many complexities.” “The melody came to me back in 2007 when I was just 16, inspired by Scottish bands like The Fratellis and Franz Ferdinand. After 17 years of it being stuck in my head, I finally finished writing the lyrics last September.”

The PeaWees – “The Wolf”

Country: Italy

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: ‘The Wolf’ is a powerful song that meanders between garage, rock’n’roll and soul, all served with a modern touch. The groove, the hypnotic guitar riff and the dream-like lyrics drag you into a nocturnal setting, where you must decide whether to stay in a world that’s too tight for you or try your luck elsewhere.

Elektrokohle – “I Wanna Cry”

Country: Germany

Genre: Post-Punk

Words From the Artist/PR: The lyrics of the song delve into themes of an inner conversation as in front of a mirror reflecting reality or a lost person silently asking for help and finding answers in just the gaze of the person in front.

Spike Polite & Sewage – “Florida”

Country: US

Genre: Punk

Words From the Artist/PR: Spike Polite & Sewage’s new EP, “Punk Not Dead,” released on digital stores on April 12, is produced by Ted Sabety for Solid Bass Records, and is a powerful mix of punk, rock, and industrial noise, encapsulating the band’s ethos of challenging the status quo and representing the voice of the disenfranchised.

JD Casper – “Zippo”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: I grew up in a small town called Bradford, PA. It’s where Zippo Lighters were invented & are manufactured to this day. They sponsor everything in the area. Hospitals, schools, events, fundraisers. You name it. Growing up there, I became very well versed in the history of Zippos. The first verse is meant to describe my new Zippo Windproof Lighter. The second verse is a visual that takes you back to my 16 year old self. Running late for school because all the snow that the town seemed to have received on a daily basis for 6 months of the year. The third verse is dedicated to how Zippo came to world wide notoriety. During WWII, most American soldiers carried Zippos. They brought them to Europe & introduced Europeans to the product. The rest is history.

Jordan Burchel – “Chemicalz”

Country: US

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: Jordan Burchel has been building a cult following over the past year by writing and posting a song everyday for 350+ days. Even in the hospital! Even with a one day old baby! Now, he is returning from the wilderness of the internet and putting out “real” music again. Premiered by Rain Pheonix’s creative alliance “launchleft,” the track combines bombastic and fuzzy production with his unique brand of interior lyricism. “Chemicalz” might be an anthem for introverted extroverts who occasionally lose it at work functions.

juicer – “Let Go”

Country: US

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: This our third single we’ll be releasing in the lead up to our debut album out May 10th. We recorded it ourselves at our friend’s home in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. It’s a song about growing up and letting go of the past

STATHI – “Chasing Dreams, Chasing Time” (feat. Emmett Folger)

Country: US

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: “This is a song I worked on with my good friend and producer Emmett Folger throughout 2023 in his Brooklyn home studio. It is a follow up to our last song Make Sense, Make Amends and it is a song about growing. I have been thinking a lot about how to get healthier in mind, body and spirit and a lot of those themes show through in this tune. It is also about finding ways to preserve a childlike spirit and to not give up on dreaming just because you’re growing older and things are getting heavy. I hope this resonates with listeners.”

Punkband – “BORN BROKE BREAK CROAK”

Country: UK

Genre: Punk

Words From the Artist/PR: Hersham-based 2 piece punk outfit “Punkband” is set to electrify the scene with the release of their ferocious new anthem “BORN BROKE BREAK CROAK” on the 19th April 2024, along with an accompanying music video. The song was self produced and mixed.

Cross Dog – “Hard Feelings”

Country: Canada

Genre: Punk

Words From the Artist/PR: Cross Dog’s newest album (and first for Stomp Records), All Hard Feelings (out June 7th), sees the band maintain the sonic onslaught they’ve become known for, but with a few tweaks. “Hard Feelings,” the first single to be shared ahead of the LP’s launch, is a pseudo-diss track that stemmed from Tracy feeling blindsided and betrayed. It encapsulates the moment when you are all pure and reactive emotion before you calm down and view your current situation through a healthier, more balanced lens. It’s the perfect “scream-it-in-your-car” song, so you don’t end up screaming it in someone else’s face.
