Get weekend-ready with some kickass new tunes for your earholes!

Contour – “Science”

Contour’s latest single “Science” is a great post-hardcore track with just the right amount of heaviness balanced with some great melodies. Another great tune from this Canadian band.

Sugar Soap – “Like Minds”

Here’s a bit of a mellow jam from Sugar Soap, influenced by Danger Mouse’s production and Beck’s songwriting. It’s kind of a sexy groove paired with great vocals.

Japandroids – “Heart Sweats”

From their upcoming live album, “Live at Massey Fucking Hall”, Vancouver-duo Japandroids have just released a new track, “Heart Sweats”.

StevieRay Latham – “I Don’t Mind”

Perfect for indie rock fans of all ages, StevieRay Latham just dropped a laidback song that picks up a bit around the 1:25 mark. Give it a listen!

Pacific Estate – “Saturdays”

Canadian band Pacific Estate brings us their latest single, produced by Juice Butty (City and Colour, Protest The Hero, Alexisonfire). It’s great indie rock with an almost folky vibe to it.

Bruno Lewis – “Wild Woman”

There are definitely some John Mayer comparisons that can be made here – and I’m including the guitar riffs in that. This is a fantastic bluesy-pop-rock crossover that could appeal to almost any audience.

Pedro Vulpe – “Trouble”

Here’s a great track from Pedro Vulpe, who I’m now calling Brazil’s answer to our own City & Colour, with some Damien Rice similarities added in for good measure. This song had me from the start, the vocals and music are just so captivating – check out the video as well, as it’s a great match.

Lost Like Lions – “Enemies”

Our neighbours to the south, Lost Like Lions are a Buffalo band with a new EP, The Devil You Know. Here’s a great track from the EP, “Enemies” – give it a listen, and stay tuned for more from these guys!
