aeonatan – “Sad Pisces”

Country: Finland

Genre: Shoegaze

Words From the Artist/PR: As the lead single from his upcoming debut album “nihil”, it lays heavily on its shoegaze, noise rock and post-punk influences. It incorporates layers of chaotic guitars, backed by driving drums and bass keeping the track in focus, and in the center of it all echo soft lead vocals that self-reflect on depression. “Sad Pisces” is beautiful noise for self-deceiving romantic nihilists.

Trash Pals – “Specter”

Checker Bloom – “Soul Shine”

The Lonesome – “Sad Parody”

Country: Poland

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: The song carries a strong subliminal message on how we’re all living in a so called “Sad Paradise” on our social media accounts. We know this is not the reality, yet we can’t let it go. We’re too focused on something that isn’t real, yet the true paradise is all around us and outside of our screens.

Springworks – “We Are Not Amused”

Country: Canada

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: Springworks presents ‘We Are Not Amused’, a missive about misplaced trust. It’s that moment when the shock of betrayal wears off but the disappointment hasn’t fully sunk in. Spite rock masquerading as a pub singalong. Pointed heat that you can clap along with.

Slow Coast – “Walk With Your Shadow”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: This song is about accepting every part of someone, including their flaws. It’s about working together with them and not against them. It’s about wanting to learn their deepest inner battles so that you can come out of it even stronger together. This lyrical theme is carried forward with a driving indie rock vibe.

Villa Rosie – “One Four Three”

Country: Netherlands

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: One Four Three is a punchy, angsty, and riotous song dedicated to the times in life and love when we get it wrong, but still want to do it all over again… And again, and again.

Halo Kitsch – “i was a virgin (on drugs)”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: “Bottom line, this is a story about a boy who nearly frickin’ ruined a girl. But the good news is, and the strength resonating through the song is… I’m still here, I’m just mad as hell. So, he failed. I think everyone’s been the daisy before, whether it was life, circumstance, or relationships that tried to cut them down. I found forgiveness for myself in this song when I finally admitted that I wasn’t the only one at fault, that in some way, I’d fallen victim and still came out alive on the other side. I’m not really sure what tool someone would use to cut down a daisy… Scissors? A lawn mower? But it felt more to me like my antagonist was using a chain saw. My wish for this song, is that it hands the chainsaw back to my listeners.”

Jules – “Judy”

Country: Canada

Words From the Artist/PR: Judy is a spirited homage to the misunderstood characters in our lives, urging listeners to embrace the eccentric and challenge societal norms. The track draws inspiration from the titular character, representing those who are often underestimated and judged for their uniqueness. Jules shares, “Sometimes you need someone like Judy in your life, someone that brings a little chaos to keep you on your toes and to challenge you to think outside the box.”

Instructions For Song – “Tomato Soup”

Country: UK

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: Tomato soup is often made for me by a loved one while I am ill. This song tackles themes of love in a fierce way post breakup. Influenced by Radiohead, Squid, Fontaines DC and more UK based post rock outfits this song builds the direction we’re moving in as a band. We wanted to push our alternative rock sound towards experimental post sounds of the UK right now and as we’re based in Oxford we want to contribute to our local scene which is suffering currently
