KJ Bowers – “Best I’ve Ever Made”

Country: USA

Genre: Pop Rock

From the Artist:  “This song is about reminiscing on memories of the best mistakes you’ve ever made.”

King of Foxes – “Doomed to Repeat”

Country: Canada

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: “King of Foxes is led by indie-alternative songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist, Olivia Street. Delivered in a voice equal parts fierce and fragile, her lyrics are poetic and evocative, deftly interwoven with seeing-eye hooks and a cogent understanding of songcraft. King of Foxes has released two critically acclaimed albums, with a third full-length slated for release in September 2022. King of Foxes is many things, but accidental is not one of them. Street’s words have purpose and understanding.”

Dean Nelson – “Aftertaste”

Country: USA

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist:  “I love the rhythm section in this song, it sounds feral in the production. The lyrics are tongue in cheek with a little innuendo lightly hidden under the surface. Highly guitar-driven and seemingly heading towards a cliff, but with a smile on your face, just like Thelma.”

MAWD – “Freedom”

Country: USA

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: “When you’re in so deep in a place thats full of manipulation and gaslighting, it’s easy to lose yourself or believe in yourself. “Freedom” is about becoming free from the chains of that situation or relationship and coming into your own – deciding you’re worth more and were, in fact, clouded in delusion the whole time.”

Grocer – “Pick A Way”

Country: USA

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: ““Pick A Way” (written by drummer/vocalist, Cody Nelson) is an attempt to try and understand the increasingly detached lines of reason that go hand-in-hand with toxic masculinity in general and also specifically during the insurrection at the Capitol.”

Cuovo – “Horses & Divorces”

Country: USA

Genre: Indie Pop

From the Artist: “If you put Rosalita by Springsteen, The 1975, and a dash of DIY punk into a blender, Horses & Divorces is what you’d get. Named after a local dive bar in Brooklyn, this song is a rowdy, raucous party about getting fired and drinking away the afternoon. Mixed by Charlie Stavish (Jenny Lewis, Interpol, Weezer) and mastered by Alex DeTurk (David Bowie, D’Angelo, Norah Jones)”

The Magnapinna – “I, Kennedy”

Country: Ireland

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist: “The lead single from the forthcoming album “Party Rumours”, released with a video on Valentines Day 2022. Inspired by the JFK assassination and the mystery involved surrounding the truth of “who did it” A short, powerful track that punches home and sets the scene for the rest of the album.”

D3lta – “Strange”

Country: Greece

Genre: Pop Rock

From the Artist: “D3lta continues to defy expectations with his empowering new single Strange. Having pioneered his own path, away from the confines of stereotypes and labels, he hopes his new release will both uplift and encourage people to embrace the ‘strange’ in their own lives.”

Gag Salon – “Horses”

Country: UK

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: “On 15th February, Gag Salon take you on an equestrian adventure with debut single ‘Horses’, a thrilling tale of romance and status seeking led by a frenetic Woody Woodpecker guitar riff and galloping drums. Ever been in love with a horse? Gag Salon have, and they want to tell you all about it.”

Paper Tigers – “Moloko”

Country: UK

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist: “Moloko is a reference to The Clockwork Orange, its a drink served in the Korova Milk Bar. Moloko Plus (milk plus), a heady cocktail of milk and intoxicants. A chance to lose yourself, step outside of your normal character and give yourself over to what flows in your blood. The song itself is about losing yourself to someone else in a relationship. They vampire your personality, they make themselves seem so vital to your continued existence and value as a person, systematically breaking you down while building themselves up, making you believe the worst about yourself concocting half-truths and outright fabrications and turning those into gospel. It’s the clarity that allows you to see through these veiled deceptions and step away from the situation. It’s about someone else making you feel graceless.”

Cam Mclean – “Shy Companion”

Country: Canada

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: “Shy Companion explores themes related to the passage of time. Over the last two years, time has ebbed and flowed in ways I’ve never felt before, and I wanted to capture that in a song that was bittersweet but looking forward to the spring. The song is the fourth single from the upcoming Cam Maclean record “Secret Verses,” produced by Cadence Weapon.”

jericho jericho – Myra (What’s You’re Suggesting)

Country: USA

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: “”myra (what you’re suggesting)” is an anxiety-ridden love anthem. jericho jericho’s debut album “to the flame” is a solo EP, all drums, guitars, bass, vocals, mixing, recording, etc. was done by me. The video for “myra” was also completely shot, edited, etc. by me as well.”

Sam Kogon – “Barbed Wire

Country: USA

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist: “”‘Barbed Wire’ is a song about accepting love, denying love, unrequited love, infatuation, and coming out of the closet. It’s inspired by two friends exchanging songs they write as coded love letters. One friend wants their love to come off the page and the other friend can only express their true feelings in song. Running away with or from someone who isn’t emotionally available can get you tangled in the barbed wire fences they put up at the first signs of vulnerability, so I chose that as the title of the song. The one friend trying to move forward is asking (rhetorically) ‘Is this love? Is this love? I need to know right now…and could you even tell me right now.’ They already know the answer: Sometimes there isn’t a happy ending or closure; sometimes we get burnt like tires, and that’s ok.”

Oh My Eyes – “Gravedigger”

Country: USA

Genre: Indie Pop

From the Artist: “This is the first song we ever recorded! Remastered for streaming pleasure”
