Locomotive – “Page 17”

Country: UK

Genre: Rock

From the Artist: “this track is about the age of disinformation written and performed by locomotive and guest musicians on bass and drums this time. Music inspired by my favourite punk and hard rock artists”

Paradise Row – “Lay Me Down”

Country: UK

Genre: Indie Rock

From the Artist: “Written in a hostel in Romford and perfected in a garage on Old street when jobs and money were objects of desire, Sam Hill and Luca Rigo turned to music as many do. Together they wrote Lay Me Down, Paradise Row’s debut single. This brash and cheeky Britpop stomper proves that an unabashed positive outlook is not just the best, but often the only medicine. Lay Me Down is a catchy reminder not to take anything too seriously.”

Crossroad Crooks – “In Waiting”

Country: USA

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist: ” ‘In Waiting’ is the debut single of CT’s newest rock trio, Crossroad Crooks. Their first efforts touch on the awareness and detrimental choice of cyclical living through massive, melodic guitar riffs and a wall of dynamic vocals.”

Sweet Alibi – “Next Somewhere”

Country: Canada

Genre: Folk

From the Artist: “This song is about living a touring life, and being away from home often, but finding a sense of home on the road. So many fans that start out as strangers become friends, and give a sense of comfort every time we visit their city.”

Nocturnal Animals – “Where’s My Mind Been?”

Country: Australia

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist:  ““‘Where’s My Mind Been?’ is a song about that space of time after a relationship where you lament on the feelings of regret, wanting to have another chance to fix what went wrong. It’s a place where you can start to lose part of yourself in the realisation you can’t change what is.”

Freedumb – “Sudden Deaf”

Country: Norway

Genre: Punk

From the Artist: “I was out hanging posters and when I was going down from a concrete plateau I forgot that it was mirror-smooth. So I set off and jumped down and my legs disappeared beneath me. The fall did not hurt much, but I was a few millimeters from hitting the concrete edge so my concern was how close I was to a bloody affair. Continued to hang up posters, but quickly noticed that everything was not quite right. Went to the emergency room and they said I would get better in 2-3 days, but the form only got worse and worse. Every morning I woke up with a high constant tinnitus that got louder and more intense throughout the day. Life was turned upside down and concerts, rehearsals, screen time, driving and listening to music became impossible. It took almost a year before I could return to my normal life, but I feel that I have never been quite the same after the accident and that there are late injuries that I still struggle with to a certain degree » – Torstein Eriksen (vocal/bass – Freedumb)

Daphne – “The End”

Country: USA

Genre: Pop Rock

From the Artist: “Daphne formed in Seattle during the Covid-19 lockdown of 2020. The band started when long time friends/cover band-mates Luke, Phil, Caleb, and Brycen decided to begin exploring original music. Daphne’s introspective music gives a nod to the 2000s rock bands that first inspired the four members.”

Glitched – “Down”

Country: USA

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist:  “Out of our first full length (recorded entirely in studios and basements around the Bay Area), a moody and dark alternative / progressive rock track.”

Katy Needs A Life – “That Seventies Show”

Country: USA

Genre: Indie Pop

From the Artist: “”That Seventies Show” is a fictional tale reflecting the life of a roller disco king. The story starts when he’s in his prime at the roller disco. He’s young and feels invincible and unstoppable. Then life happens eventually. Family and kids put priorities in a different hierarchy and the things that once brought him joy are replaced with the things necessary to provide. Sometimes, though, the character passes by the old roller rink and remembers what he used to be and it makes him think about who he could have been if things had been different.”

Zeke Sky – “Endlessly Forever”

Country: USA

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist: “This is a song about the Odyssey!”

Jeremy Costa – “More Than Enough”

Country: Australia

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist: “It’s about being happy about with the things that you have and appreciating the people you love in your life. The world is currently super depressing, doesn’t mean our outlook has to be.”

JIMBO – “Dropping Like Flies”

Country: Canada

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist: “Beginning with a quick swarm of flies, a bellowing bass riff, indecipherable radio static, and trebly guitar hooks, “Dropping Like Flies,” explodes in a hard rock crescendo as the almost tangible lead guitar riff grows and grows. The drumming keeps the intensity as the lead vocalist—who sounds like a younger Chris Cornell—croons about the state of today’s bright minds. “

feeble little horse – “Termites”

Country: USA

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist: “This song was inspired by a recent messy breakup endured by lead singer Lydia Slocum, where she was cheated on by her long-term partner. Soon after they split, Lydia recounts being too upset to eat anything for a week, finally resulting in vomiting at her ex’s house after an attempt to being eating again. She recalls her ex holding her hair back in the moment, but ultimately leaving her alone to clean up the mess.”

Red Grace – “Jinn”

Country: Canada

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist: “Following their podcast theme single “The Time,” Edmonton’s Red Grace is serving up another plate of hard rock n’ roll with “Jinn.” Like a lumbering giant, the continuous guitar hook of “Jinn” pulls the listener in as the song introduces a layer after sonic layer. “

Electric Enemy – “Sweet Tooth”

Country: UK

Genre: Alt Rock

From the Artist: “Sweet Tooth by London Rock band Electric Enemy is a very unique song with a distinctive, almost hypnotic vibe. A magical mixture of vintage elements going hand in hand with modern songwriting and production.”
