ABOUT THE SONG: “Northern Lights” – out now
“‘Northern Lights’ is about looking back on the good times of a previous relationship and wanting to get them back. The song highlights letting go of hard feelings and past arguments to find your way to the beauty that started the romance in the first place.” – Hunter Sheridan
Toronto based producer, Yeghia Kibalian, reached out to Hunter Sheridan about collaborating on a song after he heard some of Hunter’s music online during the pandemic. Hunter and Yeghia worked together on a concept and quickly found a direction by combining Hunter’s emotional and dynamic vocals with Yeghia’s producing style. The concept of northern lights encapsulates the lyrics and meaning of the song with the desire to reach out and hold the beauty that you see right in front of you, but it is just out of reach and ultimately intangible.
