Maple’s Pet Dinosaur – “LEGO”

Country: Australia

Genre: Alt Metal

Words From the Artist/PR: ““LEGO is a school bully diss track. It’s for anyone who’s ever felt targeted and wants to fight back. A lot of songs about bullying are ‘in your feelings’ type ballads but I wanted to deliver a bully-beat down, a heavy ‘f*** you’ to anyone out there who tries to kill another person’s vibe and confidence. Writing this song gave me the strength to set boundaries and find my own people. Now I want to build that community further through this music,” says Maple.

S.C.A.B. – “L.A.A.Y.G.S.G.M.”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: “Finding it hard to get close to someone you love? The obvious stares you in the face when you search for vulnerability in a place you can’t reach yet. There seems to be a bright well inside you but all you see is a hole. All you know is what you’ve been taught. To relearn will take some time. Be patient.”

MOTO SOLO – “History Crept On Me”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: “Lyrically, History Crept on Me speaks to the quiet chaos within – a moment when you’re lost or unraveling, and someone from your past returns, just when you need them most. You’re happily surprised and relieved when they appear. Another meaning is that we sometimes slip into our deepest fears, not realizing that all we ever needed was the presence of a friend to help snap us out.”

Jonathan Noel – “How Do I Live?”

Country: Canada

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: “”How Do I Live?” by Jonathan Noel explores the feeling of recovering from depression and learning how to live a normal life again. How do I Live in this situation is not meant to be “How do I continue my life?”. It is meant to be how do I live a normal life and continue recovery.”

The Response – “Novel Idea”

Country: New Zealand

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: “On “Novel Idea,” Christchurch duo The Response explore the uneasy tension between wanting to start anew and confronting the scars of the past. Opening with the stark declaration, “Burn everything,” the track delves into the internal push and pull of reinvention, where the desire to move on is complicated by the weight of lived experience. The staccato guitar arpeggios mirror this emotional disconnection, threading through an unnerving chord progression that feels both disjointed and mesmerizing. The protagonist wrestles with self-doubt in the verses, but the chorus flips the narrative with poignant self-reflection: “Every mistake is a badge that I wear, maybe I don’t need to be repaired.”

Edward Michael – “The Quick and the Dead”

Country: US

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: “I strive for each song I create to sound different from the previous one. My next song just might feature a banjo. This one however, features ripping guitars at a fast pace to magnify the intensity of the theme of the song: an absolute disdain for our present reality and how ignorant the mainstream mind has become.”

Krooked Tongue – “Dog Days”

Country: UK

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: “‘Dog Days’ is a much more authentically written tune, if you can call it that. Being written on the acoustic originally and then spruced up with all the niceties of our electric sound later. You can still hear the acoustic in the tune though as we wanted to keep that rhythm and authentic feel throughout. It’s quite a bass heavy song despite its soft nature, which is quite a cool concoction of tonalities. I think it helps drive home that nostalgic fullness that the song harps on. ‘How could such a young buck, feel such pain’ is written from the prescriptive of an older head. With age comes wisdom, and so to a more wise mind it can often be puzzling that someone so young and with so much ahead of them, could be so split about a teenage love saga.”

ARK IDENTITY – “Can’t Stop Loving You”

Country: Canada

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: “Toronto indie pop singer-songwriter and producer ARK IDENTITY returns with “Can’t Stop Loving You,” a soul-baring, atmospheric single that captures the ache of a love that lingers long after it has ended. The track is the latest offering from the artist’s upcoming EP Deluxe Nightmare, out October 24th. Drifting between dreamy textures and vulnerable lyricism, “Can’t Stop Loving You” leans into the still-burning embers of a past connection. For Noah Mroueh, the artist behind ARK IDENTITY, this song cuts deep.”

Mad Ones – “All Eyes On You”

Country: Canada

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: ” The track delivers a raw, raucous blast of swagger and soul — brimming with punchy guitars, driving rhythms, and the no-frills urgency the band has become known for. Channeling the grit of classic rock and the melodic edge of trash-pop, “All Eyes on You” finds Mad Ones in peak form: emotionally charged, unrelentingly tight, and ready to rip. The three piece line-up consists of Andrew DeVillers on guitar and lead vocals, Russell Fernandes on Bass and Jesse Bellon on drums.”

Origami Ghosts – “Counter Counterculture”

Country: US

Genre: Indie Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: “Indie rock outfit Origami Ghosts’ folk-rock “Counter Counterculture” delves into the punk ethos in the same vein as Jonathan Richmond or Richard Hell, while simultaneously coming across like the theme song to a Saturday morning cartoon. It explores the moment in Scesniak’s life when he was leaving alcohol and cannabis behind after a stroke, but was still surrounded by the partying lives of his friends. He sings, “I inhale only what I need / speaking to the hierarchy / of light, of love and all that could be me.”

Escape Ghosts – “Rompecabezas”

Country: UK

Genre: Alt Rock

Words From the Artist/PR: “Charles Bukowski said that isolation is the gift, but as a German, he should have known that it’s actually poison. Latest release from Glasgow’s Escape Goats comes in the form of ‘Rompecabezas’. A three-minute blast, capturing the feeling of being pulled in conflicting directions.”
